uqh this camera is k0ol i have it but i HATE THE FACT THAT ITS .MOV FILE

it stresses me that i cant use windows movie maker with it and the program it comes with slows up my computer and the videos luk trashy on the computer im using a windows vista laptop problem isnt my computer

Thanks for a level-headed review. Don't you love the portability of it all? Turn it on and it is ready to shoot right away. People don't mind you using them...they think they are cell phones. Break out my regular video camera and everyone runs for makeup. I am enjoying mine immensely. Good job!

im thinking of buying one of these soon.but before i do, i wanted to know if it will be able to record me drumming on my drumset?like what would the sound quality be?would the drums over power the mic and make the sound come out all choppy?

Well, the standard 128 mb card that it comes with will record for 30 seconds, and a 4 gb card will record for an hour (at 720p of course), so a 1 gb card...I'm gunna venture into the realm of 15 minutes or so?

i was wondering if it is a hard prosses to get though to get it onto the mac

also i did notice u taled about the vimeo

but is there anyway to get it onto youtube like converting or anything??

and when u get the videos into I movie from dragging can u edit them there? thanks alot

you just plub in the USB and either iPhoto automatically see it, or you drag and drop it on to your mac

you can uload as is to youtube AND youtube now supports HD!

you can edit in quicktime pro, imovie or Final cut. My version of Final cut can't open the files, but we tried it on a friends mac and his can.

I don't know why that is.

I usually edit quickly in quicktime

I like it, but it's not that great inside AND you have to be abour 26" away to get it to focus, so hand held self-videoblogging isn't too practical.

Outside it's gorgeous. You need a monopod or tripod though.

I'm looking into other solutions.

indeed 720p h.264 is starting to become THE thing. I will likely pick one of these up.... too bad no image stabilization, though.

Good review. Good sounding voice. I have a bit of an odd request. Could you try yelling into the mic with you mouth up close to it and see if it distorts? Some Kodaks and Sonys will automatically adjust mic sensitivity so that they won't distort.
