Extraordinario Wotan. Mi favorito (como el de Furtwangler) junto al de George London. Aunque hay que reconocer que su lectura del contrariado dios era algo plana y mucho menos matizada que la de Hans Hotter. Pero por medios y adecuación vocal era sencillamente impresionante. Además era alto y apuesto, por lo que en escena debía recrear al padre de los dioses de manera magnífica.
