  • This song gives me chills. What a beautiful rendition.

  • Awesome. This song transports you straight to the throne of grace, and the way they blend and weave their harmonies together in this song is like a tapestry of beautiful sound.

  • I have never heard a better version than this song. I learned about it through the Gaither Videos and especially enjoy Terry Franklin singing. I also love the way the Gaither Vocal Band has performed this, standing in a cirle. LOVE this version!

  • that's cool

  • this song brings me so much comfort when my ma passed away and when a loved one is sick.... i love this song

  • @ValerieBarlow Terry Franklin is one of the best tenor's the vocal band has ever had. They do an excellent rendition of this song. The Goodmans were great singers no doubt...but the vocal band have some of the best harmony around.

  • @dphillips81 I agree. I was disappointed he wasn't able to attend the Vocal Band Homecoming.

  • @dphillips81 I agree. I was disappointed he wasn't able to attend the Vocal Band Homecoming, and appear on those videos.

  • My Mom went home Sat Jan 8th 2010. She too had MS and it contributed to her passing. They had a great family reunion that day!

  • I had a cousin that passed away from MS, He was a pastor before he got sick. His wife left him while he was in the hospital. But he is in heaven now.

  • We sang this song at my mom's funeral. She said the same grace that God saved her with would take her to be with Christ in heaven. She passed away in her sleep with the peace of God on her face.

  • Brutal

  • We went to this concert when I was young. We were very touched by the whole thing. Very moving songs, with great emotion on their faces. Terry has an awesome voice. All of them together sound great. Mark Lowery is very amuzing to watch. We even got to take pictures with Hoovie Lister and Jake Hess. They were 2 amazing men in gospel music.

  • I will keep you in my prayers! It is possible to live a long life with MS. And, if he put you there, he will bring you through it. It is impossible for us to know what we are given these challenges for by him. We just have to obey him, follow his lead and put ourselves in His loving hands.

I was recently diagnosed with cancer which could not be removed by surgery. I praise Him every day for giving me this, because it shows that he has more faith me than I have in myself. Praise his name!

  • I can't wait to see my Dad again and my Heavenly Father.

  • What a morning that shall be when we are sitting a the masters feet - singing all these great songs. Thank you God Bless

  • The members of the GVB on the Praise Gathering cassette were Bill Gaither, Mark Lowery, Michael English and Jim Murray, not Terry Franklin. Although this is also an excellent version also. My Wife requested this song to be played at her funeral in 1995.

  • Those guys are incredibly gifted.

  • This song blesses me. I love the arrangement and the sound from these guys. What a fantastic song. Sing it over again. I can listen to this a million times. Thank you Terry and the band. I hope one day you will record the the Gaither band again. I love the combination of your voices. God bless you all.

  • My father, Bill Calhoun sang this song for years, and I love it so. Thank you for posting this. It makes me feel close to my father.

  • "I'll meet you in the morning" --- I just uttered this to one of my friends who died two days after Thanksgiving (Nov. 2008). How comforting! Thanks for posting this song. Heavenly.

  • Excellent vintage work from GVB; throughout numerous personnel changes, Bill G has retained that amazing sound we all love. God bless!

  • What a wonderful hope we have in Jesus.

  • What a beautiful old song. My mom's gone now but it's not all over. She'll be there and she'll be happy again and it'll be like old times again. She was a lovely singer.

  • This is Great

  • I love this song so much - especially this version of it. It was sung at my dad's funeral and is very special to me.

  • EXCELLENT!!....:) Karen

  • Used to sing this all the time at church when I was a little boy. I find myself singing this at times. Its just a nice peaceful song.

  • Halleluah!!! I'm so lonesome for my dear, dear parents, who sit beside the throne on the right hand of Jesus, our master... I've heard this song since I was just a little girl.

My Dad, Granddad, and Great-Granddad were all Baptist preachers. And, my little petite grandmother used to sing the alto to this beautiful hymn.... Anyone else out there with the same memories. Oh, so sweet....

  • I was at church on a Wednesday night, getting ready to sing this song. I had picked it out when my husband walked in and told me my 46 year old brother had died suddenly.. I believe the Lord was letting me know I'd "meet him in the Morning. and I'd be all right. I miss him so ..He was 13 months older. My Sweet Brother Stephen.

  • Hi. My dad and grandad were also Baptist ministers. I have so many precious memories of growing up and hearing this beautiful song. My dad is still living at almost 91 yrs, old. Still pastoring a little church and goes to other churches around, everytime he gets a chance. Thank you. Helen.

  • My grandparents would sing this song this song to each other all the time. I miss them.

  • this was written by Albert Brumley, of I'll Fly Away fame.

  • This reminds me of how important it is to start my day off with God. When I don't, my day usually isn't the best.

  • Amen! I have not heard of this song till prior 1998. Definitely beautiful!!!!!!!!!! I know it is in some hymnals, but it depends on which one I find. I am glad that I found it here!
