Kane really did used to be THE MAN back in the day. The Undertaker was the only one who could ever stop him. He was incredible! The new Kane is kinda cool sometimes but he just can't compare to the way he used to be. I don't think he ever will without the mask and the badass attitude of the old days. And the hair would be nice too. If he did what I just said he could go on a rampage storyline where he just kicks everyone's ass, maybe even FINALLY get a world title shot.

Actually the champion at Royal Rumble 2001 was Kurt Angle, who didn't lose it to The Rock until No Way Out. So theoretically the main event would have been Kane vs. Angle, which occurred at Wrestlemania X8 the following year, ending with Angle only just being able to win by cheating, which no doubt would probably have been the way it would have ended as the main event. Monoxide: Glen has always been Kane (the Masked Imposter was Festus/Deacon/Hankinson & 'Taker wore Kane's getup in '98 to fool McMahon). He shaved most of his head for the unmasking, shrunk due to lift removal and age, got flabby due to lack of muscle enhancers ('roids), unmasked due to it causing breathing problems and the "burns" stinging his eyes, and isn't as agile as he once was due to age, etc.
