Back in the 70's here in the US the Curly Wurly was called the Marathon bar, which is apparently what the Snickers bar goes by in the UK. Mars stopped making the marathon bar back in the late 70's but I found a place close to where I live that sells British products and the Curly Wurly bar was there. I must have bought fifty of the things.

Actually Snickers in the UK is called Snickers. It used to be called Marathon until the early 90's I think when they changed it to match the name in other countries.

As for Curly Wurly,I'm sure they used to be bigger back then !!
