I got this game a couple a days ago and it is REALY HARD to get USED TO. He seems to throw
randomly punches. I´m geting clinched and taken down all the time this is realy anoying. While I´m in the clinch I can´t throw knees punches while my oponnent is throwing constantly knees. This realy sucks. All in All it´s realy hard to get used to this game.

I liked both but i had more fun with EA MMA, too bad Dana purchased strike force now only ufc has rights to their fighters. Whats ea to do now, possibly they can collaborate on ufc part 4 but that will be a long shot. EA only has their Battlefield and Medal of honor to do with right now and go head to head with COD. Well I give Ea Props for good work on EA MMA.
I have both games ufc 2009 and mma to me the grappling system in ufc 09 is a little bit more complex than mma where in mma the grappling is more realistic all in all they are both great games and entertaining, as for dana white i would probably be a dick towards EA also.........

EA always makes better sports games, no patty cake strikes, over size head fighters, animation ground transitions, EA mma has FULL control over the fighters, sure it has flaws but not as many as UFC 2010.

I had a chance to try this out and the controls are god awful. The grappling seems random, almost like you have no control over what you’re doing. Going from side control to mount is impossible.
And the Fight Night punch/kick analog stick set up doesn’t go well with the clinch and take down aspect.

@thatr61 True True but did u see the new video they posted up about the career mode? the game is no longer in pre alpha its in beta now but they didn't show to much action but from how it looks on the interview with rocky the director for EA MMA and he's talking about the career mode, u will see a lil action going on in the background and i must say it looks damn near real, the movement on the shorts look nice, each fighter has there own stance and it just looks so crisp.
@jnieves77 the foot work was fixed the sliding is gone the striking looks great the leg kicks fixed now the fef is in the ring at all times and the ref even looks more alive then ufc 2010 truly i cant wait for ea mma it looks great

i've played both and UFC wins un every possible way.
1. the graphics - they don't look like they are wearing makeup on there body in UFC.
2. in ufc every fighter has there OWN style and moveset, unlike on ea.
3. its UFC! ufc is the best organisation, so more of the better fighters are in the game
4. the gameplay - ufc has more moves, more skill involved, faster action, better animation/less glitchy than ea.
The pros of ea, the servers are less laggy, and you fight under more organisations

(Maybe more now, but at the time only twenty five for ALL WEIGHT CLASSES TOTAL)
They had so many complaints about the controls that the release date was pushed back a year.

You can’t go from a simple one, two punch combination to a double leg take down.
And the submission battles are so annoying; you’ll find your self keeping the fight standing to avoid a submission sequence.

I test games,
I had a chance to try this out and the controls are god awful. The grappling seems random, almost like you have no control over what you’re doing. Going from side control to mount is impossible.
And the Fight Night punch/kick analog stick set up doesn’t go well with the clinch and take down aspect.

@thatr61 True True but did u see the new video they posted up about the career mode? the game is no longer in pre alpha its in beta now but they didn't show to much action but from how it looks on the interview with rocky the director for EA MMA and he's talking about the career mode, u will see a lil action going on in the background and i must say it looks damn near real, the movement on the shorts look nice, each fighter has there own stance and it just looks so crisp.
