aww..i have cockatiels that do it all the time..angel..hes 5yrs old or so..and likes to rub up agaisnt the cage door hook..and the other one..whos just turned a year..started doing it to the purch and hold on with one foot to his bell/mirror and makes noises as he rubs his butt on the purch. its weird when u first see it..but im used to it. i used to have another tiel..that used to do it with the food bowl. so..i guess u can say its normal. lol. it just looks like it hurts.lol
