I come back to this video every couple of months to smile. This illustrates how much animals, rabbit in this case, need space to roam and to do things that are natural to them like DIG. Feel so sorry for animals kept in prison cages. Howard is a cutie-pie.

Some are on the first floor, others 2nd floor as some need to be separated. But they all have room to hop and binkie (the bunny dance of joy). I feel so sorry for buns who can never hop due to being in little cages or locked in backyard hutches.

My friend had a WILD rabbit adopted when the Ottawa Humane Society allowed such things. When Peter became too huge (think 20lb small dog) to keep I got him he was 4. We had him for a year before he went to Silver Springs a petting farm for kids. Once you have THE REAL thing petstore dont measure up. YET wild should stay wild.

Wow how many days did your bun work on that hole to get it so deep? And you guys are lucky you have such soft, loose dirt! We befriended a bunny we found in our backyard but she's not allowed inside the house. We really want her to make a burrow to keep warm and safe but each burst of digging seems to take a lot out of her. She barely makes any headway each hour she digs.

@JasonERF our Rabbit also walks free in the garden (but without the leash). In the beginning he ran in the garden of the neighbors, but now he just stays in our garden. I think that a rabbit who walks free lives much longer than a rabbit in a cage. Why do I think this? We don't now how old our rabbit already is, but his brother who was adopted by our neighbor died 4 or 5 years ago.
