These bank robber's loot is NOTHING compared to the criminals at Wall Street and the jewish bankers who steals trillions of dollars from taxpayers money.
@MarshallDice I don't condone murder at all. I'm just saying that these guy's loot was nothing compared to what the criminals at Wall Street and the jewish bankers have been stealing from the public. You and I both know that. These 2 had no criminal records, both were ex-military, honorable discharged, so what do you think made them decide to rob banks? I bet they were thinking that if the jewish bankers and the Wall Street criminals could steal trillions, why not them.
Isn't it next to useless, to spend money on cameras that do not show good ares and pictures, and for recorders that use such old tape no one can decipher the video?
Why not have the manager and or the Deputy Manager, be responsible for making sure any pictures and videos are going to be of use. And, either record to a CD, which may already happen now, or keep a hundred tapes and use those in the same order 1-100 with a different one working each day or even half day.
@mrbluenun Dude, this was 1986, although CDs existed, the technology to put video image to disk didn't existed and if it did would be too expensive for local banks to use.
Video imagery and capture was around then in the UK, but I can also understand why, with so many 'Private' Banks in the States they may not want to or know how to get the best from as you say what was very basic imagery then. makes me thankful we are truly now in the 'age of video (In most recorders still) well, those that record info picture anyway, and to the knowledge of how and where and why to place camera's to get maximum return and usefulness.
@TheMrRanz My brother fits these systems but it was pot-luck and still is for the owner run shops as to whether a suitable camera and or video/CD set up was fitted. There is so many 'fast-buck' merchants who say they know the business but have no idea where to place the camera for the best picture in sunlight/darkness, I know that is true as my brother still fits the things, charges an arm and a leg to do so. and has no idea of the fact the camera's can't see through beans/chocolate!

Weren't these so called professional Armed Guards just a little relaxed in there job? Why was that money not in a special container that the robbers could not get into?
