sprint, jump, sprint, jump, sprint, jump ; it takes a little getting used to, but easy once u learn it. Oh, and you can't do this in multi btw.

i got about half way through the mission and my turret ended up destroyed and I ran out of predator missile attacks when the second heli came. If you just wait inside the burgertown when the second heli comes your team will shoot it down and you will be a lot closer to the convoy. :D
