@VochoERS Its an all titanium head with composite blades on both the main and tail rotor. Its transmission is also reinforced along with the tail beam. They also completely changed the center of gravity.

@bunkerck No modifications to them. If you go on the Flying Bulls web site you'd be able to read that both of their MBB Bo-105's are perfectly standard and were ex-police helicopters. They've just got amazingly agile pilots at the controls of them

@urshtnme Obviously the red bull 105 has been modify for acrobatic purposes...I guess...And it has a rigid rotor,but only in theory because the flapping and vertical hinge are not mechanical but elastic...like the As 350 or the Ec-135...however it has not a see saw rotor hub so low-g is not a problem,I guess again :o),sorry for my poor english,bye.

Aaron is a great pilot, flies the US machine but as I said- Wilke is the boss...

All of this "one-of-a-kind", "heavily modified" talk is marketing crap - i know of both German Airforce & SA Police pilots who have done similar in 105's & have witnessed similar in BK117.

The trick to what Redbull does is to modify the gravity fed pumps- it's the duration of performance that's so impressive.... Either way- these guys have HUGE balls...

@pianomansas @resqme1000 - There are several machines- including the blue one which as far as i know is not aerobatic machine. D-HTDM (I think there is a D-HSDM too) is flown by Wilke. Ex MBB test pilot, ex German Airforce. He pulls insane 'freefall' times unlike anything I've seen in a Aaron video. Google him and/or check out:
