  • my email nielcast@hotmail.com

  • very nice !

  • realizing the background its kind of crime-scene-rhythm....

  • That was really good :D

  • I wish they would have kept old bari designs and only updated keywork. You have the best bari sound I've heard.

  • Great stuff!

  • i think im gonna start playing the bari sax soon- any tips?

  • @AlainahB dont use the cheap neckstrap they give you, but a wider one, or better yet, a harness, trust me these things are heavy on your neck

  • @AlainahB Get a neotech neckstrap or harness, you switching from a different sax or...? Use Vandoren reeds, never Rico...also, embouchure can make a big difference when you're playing. One last thing, bari sax is a monster, takes a lot of breath, but it's worth it xD my favorite instrument, looking to get my own soon, using the school's atm.

  • @abracasaxophone you can use rico reeds, i mean they're terrible and break way more often then they should (9 years of experience) but they make it easier to whail with a barry and the rico royals make for a smoother azz sound than a Vandoren. also vandorens take a while to get used to and in a good playable area. just food for thought.

  • LOL i thought you were going to play mary had a little lamb when you started it

  • youve just won my heart <3 haha

  • I loved it after the first three bars :D

  • Nothing better than a good 'ol bari sax. I've been playing since the seventh grade.

    :D

    Much love, my friend!

  • I also love MARK VI

  • I'm scared because I have recently bought a sax that looks an awful lot like this one :L Was the note that didn't sound a D by any chance?

  • oh my gosh bro. Mulligan is reborn in Markvilover. =] such a robust classic bari tone

  • I've played the 4 major saxophones (Soprano,Alto,Tenor& Bari) and i've gotta say, the Bari is the easiest for me to play cuz you don't force your mouth too much on the mouthpiece. It is very easy to play in my opinion....the old bari sax this guy has is just like the one i play here at home, but the one i have at school is nothing compared to the old one, the oldie plays better!!

  • @MrCorona64 i have also played all four but i find the soprano and bari easiest on tenor i cant ever get the embrochure right so i epically fail at the tenor

  • good hob

  • i had to move up one by one alto tenor then bari

  • thats a very laarge instrument play alto cause im 11 thats really good

  • yeah but its hard to switch from alto to bari because you play with a much lesser energy on the bari , this is my actual problem

  • @Marschmallowman I don't play with less energy.

  • @Aznsk8terkdn i play alto too n wanna go to bari

  • Nice!! Sure it needs some practice, but without music in front of you that's great. I play in a jazz band and I play all the saxes.

  • little flat but nice ove all besides flat or not cant talk bad about the blues

  • Yeah, sorry to repeat it, but you are flat.

Don't tune to the tuba! x)

  • You definitely got some good licks, but i'll second that you are too flat and your sense of time is a little awkward.. you have a nice sound but you don't have to play for every beat, space is good too!

  • thanks man!

  • Seriously, HUGE kudos. I'm impressed.

  • your really good dude

  • its pretty good but you are waaaaayyy flat

  • this is good. You should definetley keep doing this.
