  • @kazoobazoo117 No he said hardest hit!

  • @kazoobazoo117 Lol.

  • Boring...

  • we sometimes have weather like this in chicago.. it freaks us out! bassically tornados and earthquakes are our worst nightmare since we dont get them ever xD

  • When we learned about the warnings, we went across the street to my brother's house. Luckily, there was no tornado for us, but still a pretty nasty storm. We rode it out there together.

  • Too bad it didn't destroy the Democratic national HQ

  • @XXTHE12THMANXX

Too bad you're not in control of our nation's budget. Oh wait, that's a good thing.

  • @XXTHE12THMANXX i fucking live in the dc area jack ass....hope a tornado hits your hick ass

  • i did the same i was at my school not telling but i was on the bus i was in sixth grade my cousins went to school wit me then a huge fucking gust of wind and rain hit i was like HOLY SHIT!

  • FUCK tornadoes. They, and mother nature, can suck my imaginary dick *I'm a girl*

  • i was at home alone and freaked. i live in bethesda. our power went out so i didn't really know what was going on. i just went to the basement. my brother goes to the lab school in dc, and my mom was with him. they said they heard the tornado sirens of north va. this storm freaked me out. it's the closest i've been to a tornado ever. i seem to be a severe thunderstorm type of person, wherever i go.

  • i was in school getting ready to go home until the tornado warning popd up so we took shelter, it was kool but i didnt see the tornado :(

  • I lived on the boarder of northern virgina, I had my eyes guled this was incredibly fascinating! Funny thing was we had tornadoes on the 4th of July both in 07 and 08. I was actually joking around before "watch this'll happen again next year!" and bam! who would have guessed!?

  • you know this was on june 4th right? i was in pa the previous year and we had those same storms, but this one was on june 4. i remember because it was 2 days before graduation. i wouldn't be surprised if there's a storm this year. the weather channel has been a little slow with there reports.

  • A strong tornado went through the Allegheny NATIONAL Forest which is mountainous in 1985, destroying all in it's path!

  • @1050hz: Unfortunately, I think pretty much every other major city in the country, even places like L.A., San Francisco, Boston, and Seattle may someday have an F5 tornado on their doorstep.

    Nobody's really 100% safe.

  • oh yeah i forgot... my sister was driving EXACTLY where that news guy is standing on her way home from school. she didn't even pull over. i would've been too afraid to keep driving, i was afraid to even leave my basement!

this thing came out of nowhere. i have a weather station at home and i'd tracked the storm all day, but this cell erupted TOTALLY by surprise. even the news channels said they had no idea.

  • WHOA! 50 just north of 66 is right where i am!

  • hardest hit northern va is right!

scared the heck out of me!

my friend was driving a few cars behind the one of the person who was killed as the tree fell on her.

  • Cancelled my graduation that night cause of these storms. I got hit pretty hard in the mountains before these storms even made it to DC. We had funnels to my north and a lot of wind and hail around my county.

  • dude there cant be funnels in mountain areas

  • oh no? I beg to differ. Big time.

  • one of these days an major Tornado WILL HIT WASHIGTON D.C. And Scientists and Meterologists say that the Nation's Captiol gets Tornadoes pretty reguraly (all though most are weak).

People who say: 'Tornado will never hit Washigton D.C.' are idiots and FOOLS!! Even Meterologists have said that!

  • now thats a big deal

  • i remember this storm. we had to do the tornado drill at my school. there was just this this huge cloud of yellow and red on the weather channel.

  • Peope really over-react to a small storm.

  • I live in this area, and people over-react to a little rain. There is also some rule here I am not familiar with, when it rains people tend to speed up. I remember this storm and it is nothing compared to what I have seen in Texas.

  • mehz livez by there talbot

  • nothing to said the global warming

  • i was at work, power flickered, most of the county tho lost power for hours, a lot of it still without power.......lots of damage!
