People forget that series tend to get better... you can't really compare two titles of the same series, unless they are radically different. Of course Skyrim gives a better impression than Oblivion, and TES6 will surely give a better impression than Skyrim. Oblivion also was a big improvment over Morrowind. And Morrowind over Daggerfall. And Daggerfall over Arena. You'll always apreciate older titles if you play the series by their correct order and not the opposite.

I like the looks of the armor in Dragon Age better--they look more like what I imagine when I think fantasy. Elder Scroll armor looks, to me, like it was during the age of the Roman Empire.

Whatever. If you like WOW because of the freedom and quests than will you love Oblivion, but keep in mind that the battle system is completely different.

I live in California and I never took Spanish, yet somehow I'm currently enrolled in college...
