OK, calling for a "411" ... I remember another animated movie from this time period, about a couple of androids in love, but they are separated and searching for each other -- very emotional. That is mostly all I remember about it ... the raw emotion of "longing" for one's soul mate.

But there is one image that has stuck in my head. The boy robot is coming out of a box of some kind, covered in what looks like soap suds.

Anyone have a clue what movie that was?

1st: It's an alligator, not a crocodile.

2nd: It's a mink, not an otter.

Those 2 animals are stated that in the film.

Apart from that, they're the best dancers on the dancefloor.

Oh my GOD I love this movie! Nothing drags me back to my youth quicker than this movie, along with, Hot Lead And Cold Feet! Incredible animation, good tunes, and a stellar cast! Would kill to have this on DVD!
