The real question is the biochemistry of it all. What are the gradients, or receptors that code for segments and such. What is going on with gene expression?
IS IT TRUE THAT EMBRYONIC DEVELOPMENT AND STAGES CAN BE KNOWN BY JUST DISSECTING A FETUS INSIDE A WOMB? this word is according to DRPSHOLDER, i se his message here in youtube.. is that true? or drpsholder is just lying or he doesnt know at all
the three germinal layers are of equal importance Vikingerwolf. bear in mind that the embryonic precursor of the brain and the spinal cord is the ectoderm.
Well it is not clear anywhere in the video if you are no expert (even if you are its too darn fast). It would be a helpfull adition to put different color for every germinal layer that would be retained in the developing tissues.
In neural plate there are three different layers to describe: ectodermis, mesodermis and endodermis. Most important of all is mesodermis which forms mostly organs and vescula.
Isn't ectodermis developing to brain, eyes, skin and neural cells? Why should at any point one out of three germ layers be considered more important for a triploblastic organism?
Since all these layers have their own programm to develope structures, it is considered that they all are equally important. What I ment was that mesodermic layer is interesting to see how it developes. Sorry for my type mistake..
It's beautiful. ^_^

That would work but ultrasound would be a much better option
