@jabhatta The h-pawn is too dangerous; black has to sac a knight back just to stay alive. Rybka 4.0 gives the line 28... fxg5 29. Qxg5+ Kf8 30. h6 Ne3 (threatening mate) 31. Qxe3. If the knight instead takes the h pawn, then there's 31. Qxh6+ Ke8 32. Rbd1 and the pressure is too much for black to withstand.
hmmm....sad to see this...i play the chinese dragon regularly...and we should mention that radja did not lose by making a clear mistake....he was pretty agressive on the queenside but no tactics appeared...i play the dragon for so long but still do not understand it...sigh...
I cant remember which move, im sorry. But some patzers with fritz/rybka told the GM´s it (and gave the variations too). But I wasnt really following this game, I like the positional games more :)
thanks crusher this is something i have a problem with. could you do a video illustrating this with castled kings on the same side or with white facing a kings indian type castled position? in that situation once im developed i go for a 'pawn storm' because ive heard thats a good thing to do - but then i just seem to weaken my own king instead of breaking down black's king position.
When considering a pawn storm first you need to see if the kings are castled in the same side or not. If they are, like in the KID, you should make sure that the center is closed or that the opponent has no counterplay in the centre. The best reply for a wing attack is to counterattack in the center.
Carlsen is amazing, I don't know how he assesed that position. I thought black was better. He really is an amazing player. Great vid as usual Trigron.
Ka1 if you see in Carlsen's Game, He just won it!!

at 7.53, why shouldnt black just take the horse, the king has an escape square f8 and then E8 right - he can wriggle out
