You do not combat the sheer vitriol and bigotry of the extremists with intolerance and hate. For example, one does not swipe at homophobic black ministers using racist slurs. Actually all Mrs Edwards did was ask the coulter to stop with the personal attacks, a perfectly reasonable request, it's the coulter interpreting the statement to mean she should be completely silent, to me that clearly indicates the coulter believes she is incapable of doing anything except making personal attacks. Oh and please note I used no slur words in describing the coulter.

Okay for starters, Democrats arent even supporting Edwards. He comes in FOURTH in all the polls. At this point, Fred Thompson (a non-official candidate) would defeat him now. Second what Edwards did manifestly was say "I can't handle Ann Coulter, but let me at them terroists!" While London was under attack, Edwards' attention was on Ann Coulter.
