  • I'm scared :(

  • its just not the same as the british vertion and why do they change the guy who dose it they speak the same lagage and britan made it first why have the amracan got to steal our shows and put there names on it. i mean its not a case of puting somerthing like a bbc program on fox its more like total wipe out usa why cant they make there own shows

  • it would make a lot more sense to thomas if cranky was more specific.

  • @ItsBennyBuns Why do you have to watch it then? No one is forcing you.

  • @normanozwald I think YOUR now the gay character. If you were your 5 yr old self would be crying because of this, that would be stupid. They still have the old models, etc. SO WATCH THOSE.

  • Can you send me the link for this

  • oh, henry. what have they done to you? 1:21

  • @CrazT729 Nothing.

  • You know what, I really enjoy watching this version of the series than the UK one

  • Nice this is the first CGI episode I have lookout at I would like to see more of the original story in the series

  • @HoorayforOliver Not Hank, Rosie, and Hector. Those three are All-American.

  • @HoorayforOliver i understand, but this is typically aimed for little kids who aren't used to hearing those terms unless they are in fact brittish. I don't see a problem as long as the Brittish version is still using it's own terms, but if you do, that's understandable.

  • @HoorayforOliver It's only the us/canada version. We're used to those terms.

  • where do you get these clips?

  • @HoorayforOliver They've been calling brakevans cabooses and guards conductors for a while

  • @ScottishRails Yeah well thats because that the children don't know what they are, they know cabooses, conductors, etc.

  • any where to watch these fully?

  • @HoorayforOliver You relive this is the vertion show in the US were the job is called "an engineer". Driver is the British term.

  • cool! the viaduct is back!

  • Henery's Voice is so funny lol

  • @lovelywomen423 Are you kidding? HiT has ruined this show, destroying all logic and realism in of it.

  • @ScottishRails Are YOU kidding? HiT is trying to save money. Do you know how much it costs to buy all those stinkin models every season? Also, new set designs, etc. HiT helped Thomas, and this is much more realistic that plastic clay faces on G scale trains, with camera equipment showing up in the back, reshooting scenes, and crashes are very difficult. That is why they transitioned, and I like it.

  • @ThomasS13USandCanada I'm not talking about the CGI, I'm generally talking about script and the like, but I've seen it getting back to good stuff since MIR :D

  • @ThomasS13USandCanada the original thomas will always be my favorite and the of them all.i grew up with the old thomas not the new one that why i hate this version so much

  • @ThomasS13USandCanada besides there in NEW YORK CITY!!!!

  • @ThomasS13USandCanada my 4 year old loves the fact that thomas can now move his mouth to talk.he wont watch any episode unless the trains mouths move.so the anomated series is great in my book.thankyou for alowing us to enjoy thomas through your videos.

  • @ThomasS13USandCanada What a pathetic excuse to save money. If they're so obsessed with that , then why not end the show altogether?

  • @mattjnor98 End the show? No way!

  • @lovelywomen423 A DVD just came out featuring this episode called "The Lion of Sodor" yesterday (Dec. 7)

  • @lovelywomen423 Are you kidding? HiT has ruined this show, destroying all the logic and realism in of it.

  • I like Cranky's voice in the UK better...

His US voice is too deep...

  • @Zorran202 He reminds me of Alec Baldwin

  • cranky doesnt sound cranky

  • @thatlegorandomguy I was written in the script that he would be kinda cranky.

  • At least Henry dosen't sound like Fergy Fudgehog anymore.

  • I don't care if Thomas is Americanized as long as the voices fit.

And besides, I think it would be more realistic if they've gave the characters British accents in the US version because Sodor takes place in the UK, not in the US.

  • I like it.

  • Yuck! At 1:51, I don't like the lion eating up syrup!

  • I think the reason why they gave the characters American accents in the US version and British accents in the UK version is because if there's only one version, then a group of kids from one region might not understand what the characters are saying in English.

  • If you listen carefully at bredam docks, you can hear Theodores whistle

  • They're called Drivers and Firemen in the UK

  • You would have Brown

  • Is that it?

  • I really like the attention to detail. You can actually hear Cranky's parts when he moves. :)

  • I can't understand it either. In the US, we've always had "Driver" and "Fireman". The only thing that was ever changed was "Guard" to "Conductor", which was fine. But why now did the terminology have to change?

  • Political Correctness gone made, if you ask me

  • Heavy: Engineer is engineer!

    Engie: Heck yes!

    Heavy: Not big suprise!

  • this is the american version though and if u got a problem dont look at it

  • @HoorayforOliver no kidding an engineer is also someone who drives a train...though kids would get confused :)
