@Twewyable actually dead rising is about killing zombies and progressing in the storyline while getting a good number of achievements.. if not all... now all i said was it helps to use items like the megaman blaster.. its not a god mode weapon.. i dunno if you noticed but it takes roughly 4-6 hours to kill 53k zombies... so lets just say your *basically pick stuff up and beat zombies to death* is a bit brainless... instead stick to a megaman blaster and finish the story..move on???

raw meat is only good for a little while, but you should be able to cook it. if you don't it'll go bad and you'll get sick. it'll leave you open for about 10 seconds while frank does his diarrhea dance

something that really helps me level whenever i have to start over, the girl you rescue movers alot slower that the guy(after you get out of the vent) so before the girl gets up onto the ledge but the guy is up, go through the vent. if done correctly only the male has been rescued. go back out and the girl will still be there. get her up the ledge and go through the vent. you get the pp of rescuing two seperate people insted of bother of them as one.

It takes a little bit of time, but if from the very beginning you rush to the gun store, you can stock up on everything before Cletus gets there. Having 6 pistols, 2 shotguns, 2 sniper rifles, a health item, and a melee item makes runs quick. (or any mix thereof) You have the firepower to destroy most of the bosses rather quickly, the sniper rifle owns Carlito and the convicts, you can use the melee weapon while you run, and then replace on the fly, and you can have health food items.
