Im sorry but I never liked Andy as an actor and just because he's ill that doesn't change my opinion of him. He overplays all his parts dramatically, plus compared to the other actors, he's scrawny.

I have high hopes for Liam. There's no way in Jupiter's cock he'll be even nearly as good as Andy, but the show will be epic nonetheless. Let's just hope he prevails, and Spartacus see's many more seasons.

I think Sam Worthington would of been a pretty good spartacus nothing against Liam but I am just saying. Perhaps he is too big of a movie star to be in the Spartacus role, everytime I watched the clash of the titan movie which was once and a half lol I thought he could be a good replacement.

Especially off terminator he fits that macho toughness guy and looks like Andy just like Liam does maybe all Aussie just look alike.

@Solarissis I have not heard any confirmation for a third series, however I know the story allows for further development. Also, I'm excited that series 2 is a prequel, so Andy and Liam's performances can be kept seperate and not compared to each other. Liam refers to Andy's Spartacus as 'his legacy', and Liam will create his own.

@mahalcat Andy's battle with cancer is nothing short of tragic, however Liam said in the New York Post that he is not trying to copy Andy's Spartacus, he is creating 'Liam's Spartacus'. I hope that both performances are great in their own unique way, and it's exciting to see what Liam does with the character on such an amazing show
