gene, you're really good, i give you five stars! however, there is a major problem here, youtube musicians, namely, the fact that john mayer (the most superficial-egoistic man in music) is inspiring young guitarists...does anyone else see this as a problem? the end times have truly arrived!

heyy i think i recorded this video when i was like 16 years old. my playing has improved greatly to say the least. but i would say that john mayer is a very versaatile and talented guitarist as well as songwriter. i have really fallen out of interest with blues in the past years or two and mainly focuson jazz now. as far as the end times are concerned, now that we have lady gaga, i htink maybe now the end times ahave arrived haha

He uses about everything with 6 strings, and alway`s creates the mayer sound.

(precence at 4, reverb at 4) and skill, a lot of it,..

and for this guy, nice playing, but put something heavy under your amp,.. because sometimes it sounds like the hole house is vibrating.

i have just a plain old nice fender strat(my first guitar) and for christmas i got a gibson les paul supreme and i like my strat better belive it or not just like the bluesy tone
