All the songs are form her album LOOKING THERE you can get it from her website kaissa.com. The first song is O Si KEKA. second is TO NDJE, the third one ALEA SO.
Ditto (Soundguy11). I was at the same concert. It is sad that the college community realy did not take full advantage of the free opportunity. It was the first time I had heard music. I was absolutely floored. If you like world music, African music, socio/political music, praise music, party music, and/or just great ole music accompanying a powerful, yet silky voice, you have to buy her CD.
I'm might be pre-judgemental to say Kaissa is little known on this side of the Atlantic, Europe. Perhaps she has a growing fan base in France (for obvious reasons according to her bio), but it would be interesting to know if that's the case in the UK, where I reside. I'd relish the chance to listen to her album in its entirety.
Her music identity is contextually far from mainstream as far as Cameroon music is concern, which is why her music product is compelling, attention-getting and cross-cultural.
Uk does not promot african musician in uk people see it like a big country but its a small island, did many african arist made it in Uk?almost none how many africans artist made it in France,Germany, and U.s.a and sweden? so many i can't even count it here.Kaissa is well known n europe ,not in Uk ,becoz in Uk they only promot Uk,american,Asian and some west indies music.
