  • @tayousei Glad you like it! Yeah, it sticks in our head every day as well... It seems to infect our minds and cause us to start making our own lyrics to the song. Catchy indeed! You can count on us to continue to license songs that are memorable and catchy throughout the duration of the game too. Be sure to stop by our site and leave us direct comments about any of the tunes you see listed in our "music" section!

  • @kyleaward will we be seeing a "Shoobadoo (Get Out of My Head OSX Remix)" then? :D also, speaking of music... the songs so far do seem to be very catchy and appealing, but will there be anything to cater to the people who like stuff like VerTex, Onyx's songs, etc.?

  • I really appreciate you colouring the icons to indicate where in the beat they fall. That's something that was really missing from ouendan.

  • Everyone please keep in mind that there will be multiple ports/devices/platforms with ReRave. Our "stepping/stage" version will certainly have key elements in the interface that aren't visible in this video. We can understand your confusion + questions about this... Keep watching more as we reveal more about what separates the different platforms from one another. Presently, we are working with with our iOS version which we hope to launch in the first quarter of 2011! Keep an eye out! :-)

  • We've been seeing a lot of people comparing it to other games or posting negative comments... That's totally OK and we appreciate any feedback regardless of being "positive" or not!

    We WILL be producing this game no matter what and we certainly have heard lots over the years that we've been doing this ... :-)

    We can understand criticism and present confusion - hopefully everyone will start to see what differentiates ReRave from other titles as we reveal more details in the future.

  • @Darkbreezee Sorry to hear that... luckily there are a lot more details to be revealed which should "hopefully" make it more fun if you don't feel that way yet. If you don't like it (sorry to hear it) Luckily we will we will be producing it regardless and people who desire something new to play will enjoy something new. Thanks for the feedback! :-)

  • This makes jubeat look easy... And I also noticed that blue notes are actually 1/4 notes, while the red notes are 1/2ths. The green notes seem to be 1/8ths. Am I correct? But anyway, the timing should be much more noticeable. I don't know what you could do to make it more noticable without making it look like jubeat with free placement of notes.

    I would like my arcade to upgrade the DDR X machine they have to oITG and attach the DDR USA pads to the X. Anyone know how I could get them to do this?

  • I'd love to see how that is supposed to be played. I'm all itg so so I find it a bit hard to imagine how some patterns are supposed to come out in the end, but the game looks kinda cool now, hope that when it's released it comes with a chart editor too : )

    Is it just you and Chris working on the charts? Because I know that there are probably a bunch of people who would love to help out with making them (not saying me but yes, I'd also be interested lol).

    btw... how is that triple thing (at around 1 minutes and 45) suposed to be hit?

    Of course there is easier difficulties available! This is one of the "tough" edits we've been working on so far to test the limits of what can be done...

    The "Triple Hit" is a test for us and is naturally quite easy with a touchscreen interface but can be challenging with our stepping version (hands)... We haven't decided if we like "triples" in the step version just yet, but it's still quite early to evaluate. Thanks for the comment!

  • @kyleaward hopefully there will be a shipping to germany some time in the future °A° (seriously couldn't wait to try this out, even if I would fail so hard trying to get used to this)

  • @DanieluYoshikoto We hope so too! We have some distributors that might also make that a reality! Remember, our "iOS" version will be launched first and it's likely you'll be able to experience the game on any iDevice in the convenience of your home. You'll be able to test it out with your fingers before trying it with your hands! :-D Keep a look out on our site for a launch date.

  • @kyleaward well I don't have any of those devices here and most likely will not get any off them yet, since I am more interesting in a rather old product, through still hoping for the arcade releases.

  • @kyleaward Triples, with the stepping version? Considering that raving is supposed to be another form of dancing, I'd think hands on the ground moves would be natural. I say leave them in.

    That particular triple looked simple to hit with just feet if you turned your foot or body to the side, however.
