i believe thats an exhaust leak not knock...

@87norcalyoder nah. an exhaust leak makes it louder and that's it. a rod knock sounds like this, in correlation to the motor idling.

yeah that tap is normal if you don't take care of your 22r/re's valve adjustments, older bmw's use to have the same valve train layout and their motors got dubbed the "sewing machine" cuz of the racket they made

@splashdown50 they say the best performance out of a 22re exhaust system (for a stock 22re) is stock manifold 2.25 inch pipe hi flow cat and a flow master style muffler

it had a 3in body lift with 33's on it. theres a noticeable difference in power but not as much as u would think. And I do not own the truck anymore, I have the video up so the people who are interested in lc's stuff can hear what it sounds like.

he did you notice a power increase with ehaust and intake alone? or did you get the efi power up kit? any other mods that you did to run it? because i heard that if you use it every day that you need slightly bigger injectors. nice truck and it sounds awesome!
