  • My mum breeds bengals for a living and I just love them, their so fun to be around.

  • possably one of my fav breeds

  • i have to bengal cats one gold and one silver there amazing cats to own and verry verry lively :) i enjoy having them in my life <3

  • Anyone know a good site to get one? Lol

  • @souptikgupta

    Sorry

Even though I would like one, im afraid its gonna kill my guinea pigs, and anyways, I have a dog

I actually got him by accident hes a street dog and hes very wild

I met him in the streets and he followed me home :'D Hes a lab

  • @TheKeyWestian

... I would like a bengal kitty for christmas...

  • @annaarisara there are so many similar wild cats in my locality, i am sick and tired of them ... plz come and take them... some are spotted and some have linear stripes... and unlike dogs these cats (although wild) are very selective in their food habits.. they eat only good food.

  • i dont understand, they meow just like any other regular cat

  • what about the envioment?

  • I'd never seen a Bengal in the flesh before, up until a couple of months ago. Man, they are truly something else! But very affectionate, very playful, and they love people. I hope whoever adopted the two I worked with at the rescue centre has a lot of fun with them!

  • my cat does that but anit no bengal ;lol

  • sooo cool I want!!!

  • I love dogs & cats my dad was going to get me a dog but he said maybe when im abit older, so im getting a cat/kitten and seriously cant decide -.-

  • @Sammesks I wonder if this is a fake posting. You misspelled Bengals, and "white" ones are not rare but just a recessive gene. They are called snows. Im glad you had no dig. issues but even vets dont recommend walmart food.

  • @Sammesks wow. im sorry but i would never encourage people to get into breeding to make a lot of money.

  • @misspinkpunkykat i totally understand where you are coming from. i didnt mean you couldnt raise one but just because people can buy one, doesnt mean they should. :(

  • (just a little info. for people interested about my cats) i used to raise bangles for my first breeder she cost about 3000 and the male cost 6000, when they had kits i got one of the very sought after kinds they are white this one became white because the mothers dad was a white one these cats arnt wild but they sure do act like it they are very good loving cats they do make a good pet but they have a very strong will if you wanna get into the breeding you can make allot of money there.

  • Woman: Buys a bengal for 50 000 dollars

    Me: Gets one for free

Thou if i had to choose a cat to pay 50 000 dollars for, a bengal would be on the list :)

  • @eikakaka They are not that expensive. You can buy one for $400 to $600 as a pet.

  • sweettyyyyyyy :)

  • this video is very misleading... dont buy a cat if you can adopt one and see our response (bengal to go, please) for our point of view.

  • ooo.... thats a nice pussy

  • Dear Santa....

  • Also, NOT immune to leukemia, EXTREMELY high instance of digestive issues (Irritable Bowel, Tritrichomonas, a very debilitating intestinal parasite, which is almost impossible to treat and found almost exclusively in cats from "Catteries" (yes, folks, they REALLY call them that!), etc.). And really, no different from any other cat...all cats are fun and all are individual you don't need a freaking designer pet.

  • @crudell13 You are being misleading. Yes, people should do research before they buy a Bengal or ANY pet. They should visit the breeders, ask questions, ask for health testing, ask for a contract, references, ect. Bengals do not have a quote "extremely high instance" of digestive issues. They are bred down from the ALC which eats MEAT. All good breeders tell you not to feed your Bengal cheap filler cat food, they are allergic to corn, wheat and soy. If you ignore this they can get sick.

  • @Tnmbengals i raise bengles and i feed my cats just regular wal-mart food they wont eat anything else also if a person were going to buy one they need to ask to look at the papers ect. (some people dont) my cats havent shown any signs of digestive issues of any kind (i'm not arguing with anyone by posting this just trying to chime in lol)

  • @crudell13 mine dont have digestive issues and i feed them and have been feeding my cats regular wal-mart cat food they dont eat anything else

  • There are numerous "rescue" organizations specifically for Bengals, because for some reason, people buy them and then turn around and get rid of them. There is way too much irresponsible breeding, and let's face it, breeding per se isfull of a really irresponsible profession...the "rescue" organizations are also full of "retired breeders". The breeders get a few litters out of them & then offer them up for "adoption". Every cat being bred and sold prevents another cat adoption from a shelter.

  • @crudell13 Again, not sure what it is you have against breeders in general but yes. Oftentimes we retire the cats after a few litters as to not overbreed them. I never turn my cats into rescue but let people adopt them for the price of spay/neuter to people that truely want to love a Bengal but cant afford a kitten but still have YEARS of love to give a new family. People turn in or abandon TONS of breeds because they simply give up or dont research before impulse buying.

  • serval cat+asian leopard+domestic cat= ?????

  • @panime101 Bengal cats were bred 40 years ago from an Asian Leopard Cat (a small tree dwelling leopard only weighing 13 pounds at maturity to a domestic cat. Other breeds such as the Egyptian Mau were used in these first few breedings. Nowadays "Bengals" have to be at least four generations away from the ALC to be sold as a Bengal. Otherwise its a hybrid and usually requires a permit to own (depending on your state) Servals are not used with Bengals, but another breed- Savannahs.

  • @Tnmbengals Erm the Savannah contains A LOT of Bengal blood in their pedigree. Most breeders hybrize Servals with Bengals or Serengeti to retain the nice spotting that can be lost by F3 status.

  • @rickymaric Yes. Savannahs were created with Bengals, Ocicats, Oriental Shorthairs, Egyptian Maus and even Maine Coons bred to Servals. I was explaining that Asian Leopards were used to create Bengals. Servals were used to create Savannahs. Not the other way around. And they actually werent used as much as you think in Savannahs. Ocicats were used more commonly as they were trying to keep the height.

  • oh and they aren't fully immune to feline luekemia

  • I have two, and they do meow, they only make that sound when their tired but i must admit, the bengal they show at the beginning is a bad example.

  • @dooshdog lol same thing went through my mind and i've only heard on of my bengles make that noise and its usually when she begs for food

  • i have one

  • here i am... watching cat videos again

  • omfg must get tiger

    kitty !

  • These cats are just beautiful. Very expensive though, think of how many cats you could rescue with all that money.

  • Who gives a damn, apparently you knew what I was talking about!!

  • Thinking bout grabbing a Bangel or a Pixie Bobcat!! I like the Toygras too but I'm a wait till they perfect those before snatching one of those up!!

  • @QCFinest40

    that's "Bengal" & "Toyger"!

  • rollsroyce of kitties-33

  • @bitemelady I would thank you for correcting me but i can't hear you over my Bengal :)

  • @luthlan watch vid again and listen carefully it says they dont quite meow like other cats" it didnt say they dont meow.sorry for correcting you but i just had to correct you

  • My friend has a bengal cat <3 she's a sweetheart gorgeous eyes too

  • I'm sorry but I must correct the info in this vid. Bengals do meow and when i say meow i mean MEOOOOOOW! sometimes so loud its startling. but they also make the "barking" chiruping? sounds as stated in this vid. Usually when they (she is) are very excited.

  • @Luthlan

Neither of my bengals ever shut up.

  • @Luthlan my cats meow really loud when they used to go into heat like walk into the room and scare the living crap outta me meow lol

  • I'd rather just have the Asian Leopard Cat instead of a hybrid of one and a domestic cat.

  • @misspinkpunkykat

u kidding me?! do u even know why purely wild animals can NEVER be keptas pets?!

  • @KimberlyTakaishi17 It depends on the animal and the person taking it in as a pet. Getting mauled to death (with some species) is a risk one must be willing to take; and personaly after all the crap I've had to deal with from people all my life, I'd trust a wild animal before I ever gave my trust to another human being again. Dogs, which are supposedly domesticated and "safe" have killed people and people even kill each other all the time. And anyway, we're all going to die one day anyway.

  • @misspinkpunkykat i think you're right

  • @misspinkpunkykat

I'm talking about the environmental laws against keeping wild animals as pets!

  • @misspinkpunkykat There are several laws against owning a wild animal. If you do, most often times you need to pay thousands of dollars in permits, exporting fees and need to have your house or your area for them inspected by wildlife experts to determine you know how to take care of them. LOTS of people do but its not always smart. Bengals were created to help people own animals that LOOK wild but are still domestic enough to have around families.

  • @Tnmbengals Where you live probably plays role as well. I grew up in the boondocks and it was so far out you couldn't have a pizza delivered there and my parents had to drive me to school becuase the bus wouldn't go that far. Our neighbors were typical hicks and even though they owned a dairy cow, they didn't know how to properly care for her. I don't think they ever once cleaned her stall and when she had a calf, she died about a week later from mastitis which is very easy to treat.

  • @Tnmbengals Since You Tube has a limit on how many characters you can type, I'm gonna have to stretch out my reply. Anyway, I tried to get someone with some authority involved in my neighbor's neglect and abuse of their animals. There was no one to report it too. The laws to protect animals don't extend to rural areas. What I'm trying to say is: If there is no one there to protect them, I don't really think the law would get involved if someone were keeping a wild animal as a pet.

  • love love

  • SO CUID

My old teacher needed to give away her kitten because she had 2 older cats and they didnt get along with him so i offered to take him(:

  • While I am watching this, my Bengal is biting my arm to get attention!

  • CATS ARE FUCKING AWESOME YOU CUNTS!

  • What the fuck you say@EpicTard1

  • wow you fuckin retard get a fuckin life loser

  • I love cats...they are such beautiful and mysterious creatures....my faves are bengal, ragdoll and main coon...too bad my long term boyfriend is highly allergic to cats :(...he used to have cats before but than developed an allergy which gives him rush on his face and body...i though maybe its because of cats fur maybe sphynx cat would be oki? Please answer

  • @GentleSpiritt The idea that sphinx is hypoallergenic is a myth. Try looking for a cat that doesn't shed a lot and is known to produce less Feld1 and Feld4...I believe the Siberian is known to be pretty good with allergy sufferers. Also have your bf invest in some allergy pills/shots, I too am super allergic but with pills, frequent hand washing, having designated no-cat areas (usually the bedroom) I have been able to live with a cat for most of my life.

  • Bengal Cat + Cat Nip = OH SHIT!!!!

  • "uniqueness"!?

    *sigh*

  • Comment removed

  • very very vocal and demanding

  • mine, jumps in the tub with us and in the morning he will wait for us on top of the sink.

  • I caught myself a Bengal cat roaming around my village.

  • are these cats good for people with allergies? please reply

  • @Couchpotato9110 I don't think they would be any better or worse than any other cat. The cat you should be thinking of is a Devon Rex. They only have the undercoat and so shed less. Sorry no cat is good for anyone with allergies but some people find that Devons work. I know when we got our Devon I was fine but when we got our Bengal I sneezed for Months till I got used to him.

  • @Couchpotato9110

You are asking a question using the comments section of YouTube (which means you have internet access), which means you can presumably do 5-10 mins. of research using a couple of different search engines to find your answer.

  • @BlackCrescentBrigade you are reponding to a question that has already been answered when you could of seen the ccomment in about 2 min. :) smart ass honestly no; one asked you to say anything about a search engine it is a simple question that doesnt need the time to be searched thru a search enginee !

  • @Couchpotato9110

Oh my! I'm sorry that you took my comment in such a defensive way.

  • Best Cat ever...! <3

  • Why didn't they mention that bengals love water?I made a mini-pool for my bengal in my sink(waters only up to 3 inches),he loves it soo much in there

  • Does anyone's Bengal let them carry you? Mines is VERY loving and affectionate but once I pick her up she tries really hard to worm herself out of my arms and meows like there is no tomorrow haha... love her (she's just a kitten by the way) :)

  • @Boyonspace My bengal is not a lap cat at all, and I have talked to breeders who say they seldom prefers to sit on their persons lap and cuddle, but they are still awsome ^^

  • Also, I like that you can bathe them with no problems, as they love water.

  • I like how right after they said they have a bark-like meow, one of them meowed like a regular cat.

However, I have 3 bengals, and they all make both of those types of meows.

  • They do meow, I have seen many bengals meow like ordinary cats...but it is so true this cat is like a dog...high maintenance of all cats I know of...they go catch balls and give the ball back to you just like a dog and they will repeat many times until they are absolutely exhausted...if you love calm nature of cats like Persian, this is absolutly not for you.

  • I'll be the first to say that LinusTechTips owns this cat

  • My boyfriend and I have been watching a bengal kitten. I WAS a dog person...

  • I HAVE A BENGAL CAT !! AND ONE MORE IS COMING TO ME IN JANUARY !! THIS CAT IS VERY INTELIGENT, STRONG AND CHARMING !!

  • все такие милые!!!

  • Linus cat tips!!

  • They dont meow? It sounds like genral cat prrrping to me

  • @jamesingtonthethird They meow, but it is much more demanding and bark-like than a normal cats voice.

  • i have a bengal

  • I WANT A BENGAL SOOO BAD.

  • Purrrrr at the end. :">

  • 0:49 funniest meow I ever heard

  • they always say on videos they are prone to cancer hip problems and this and that but alot of people i know that have pets have no problem they live healthy and a lovely life they always try to make it seem a problem

  • I LOVE CATS! THUMBS UP

  • True story:

Rescued my cat "Kensei" from an animal shelter. Hes my first cat, and i had no idea what breed he was (didnt care either, loved him for the face). Then i suddenly came across this video, and all doubt vanished, kensei was a bengal. His meow had scared me shitless many nights, and i wondered if his throat was too tight or something, but this explains it. Had him checked by a breeder and, would you guess, hes a true Bengal. This little clip showed me the truth about Kensei <3

    Thanks!!

  • My Dog has whole 6 youtube channels! :3

  • What do you think of when you hear that a cat is being "studied" for medical research? That they have lovely rooms, windows, plants to chew on, scratching posts? Think again and google or youtube "vivisection" for that is the scientific name for "being studied"....

  • You do not need to be an experienced cat owner to get a bengal! My parents got our first bengal when my mom was pregnant with my oldest sister and they were fine. They are also more than happy to curl up next to you when you're laying down like what my bengal is doing

  • thats my cats breeder!

  • I love cats, I love every kind of cat. I just want to hug all of them, but I can't! Cant hug every cat! Can't hug very cat! Sorry I'm getting emotional.... anyway, I am a ca lover and I love to run. Srry I'm thinking about cats again!Cant hug every cat! Can't hug very cat!

  • They "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroaw" like abys, that kind of pigeon sound.

  • they love water

  • @TheMidnadarkness Thats a myth. Not every bengal loves water (mine hates it). I have heard it is genetic, so the breader must purposely breed on this trait in order for the kittens to enjoy water =)

  • thumbs up if your watching this in 2011!

  • finally know what kind of cat my cat is shes half tabby and half bangle cat that is amazing holy cow only she has long fur but its not puffy fur like persion more like tabby only longer fur amazing very nice job on this video!!

  • i have two bengals the first is a rosetta named audrey who is almost a yr an a half and she has a mind of her own a fiesty one but i love her. the second is a snow bengal and she is the most lovable very opposite of the older one. she will be one on new yrs.

  • I want it, it's Bengaliscious! My siberian cat has way too much fur...!

  • Comment removed

  • that's scary that they come from wild leopards mixed with cats

  • oommgg i love theem !!

  • I love my Bengal(: dexter... I named him after the sho time show dexter(:

  • Someday Im going to be a pet expert, I hope :D

  • i heard they are quite aggressive and have killed other cats...is this true???

  • @nicholsonpr that isnt true, they like sleeping a lot like other cats, i saw one, the ppl were stroking the cat and i was like 'awwwwwh' they dont bite humans and they arent that agressive :)

well i dont know for sure but i think soo..

  • @nicholsonpr Nooooooo We have a bengal and another cat, not a Bengal, and they don't have a bad bone in their body. The one thing to be careful of though is that they have to be either 4 or 5 generation from the origional Asian Leopard Cat. Ours is and he's a pedigree and by that stage any potential agressiveness is bred out. They make marvelous pets. Curious, full of energy, chatty, patient and loving. Also they look amazing.

  • @nicholsonpr Noooo. I guess they can be a bit much to handle for beginners if they are less than 3 generation, but if the cat is from a respected breeder they should not grow up to be aggressive killing machines xD And to be quite frank... only idiots buy early generation bengals as a first time pet, so these rumors comes from people who were unable to handle their cat and bought from the first breeder they were able to look up online.

  • My bengal cat, Piro, I rescued from the outdoors at our old house, she's so attached to me, she comes running whenever I call for her. (:

  • me and my fiance just rescued two silver bengals. One marble and one spotted. They have so much energy which is perfect for us. We have a 2yr old rat terrier that is deaf and doesnt always want to play but our 6month old jack russell terrier that is all he wants to do. I cant wait to see how him and the bengals get along as they grow up =)

  • 50 000 fuck that she was on pcp lsd and crack to pay that much for a fucking cat thank god in my friend right mind payed only 500 for the 1st and for the next one 300 so i am happy that i have him as a friend he can call up the guy for a BENGAL at any time and for 500 $ maybe will get these cat breeds THE SIBERIAN RUSSIAN BLEU

  • @rockstarcola100 I don't know where they get their info. Mine screams!

  • I love my bagel and my Bengal !

  • rabbits are better

  • cats are very cute and they make my day and the world. this show is very interesting i always wanted to own a beautiful elegant bengal. i soon will have 58 cats and i hope i have some bengals in the litter. and if u ever need cat advice just ask me. with purrs and meows momma kat(:

  • I own 2, A silver marbled female, named Silva , and a brown spotted male named Stumpee( his mother bit his tail off, probably knew he was deaf). Both are now 5 yrs old. Love Them !!

  • @rockstarcola100 "The Bengal cat doesn't meow quite like other cats" They didn't say they don't.

  • @nbandofbrother my friends BENGALS meow some times its very rare they only do meow when they extreme miss you and come home

  • I love my bengal, Mosaic aka Mosey!

  • are these cats affectionate? will they follow you around and cuddle? or sleep with you in a bed? thanks for any advice!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @freddyphredphred i think if you raise ur cat good enough... doesnt matter what breed i think they'll be affectionate and probably follow you around and sleep with you in bed

  • I have a Bengal. He has no problem meowing, though. My cat howls more than he chirps.

  • lol i'm watching this with my bengal cat.

  • I shall name mine Shere Khan

  • Just brought a kitten from a family of bred cat champions. she has the whitest tummy! and her rosseted spots are a beautiful red with black stripes. Her Grandmother was the world champion show cat, her marking make her look extremely wild, her characteristics are fantastic, i don't mean to be stuck up, and favour the kitten because its ours, but we will be entering her in shows soon :D

And breeding some absolutely top notch kittens from her :D

  • Sorry Magic Dan....he is not a Bengal but he is a gorgeous kitten.

  • I have a bengal, I named him Kovu - after the lion in lion king 2 cause he's just as mischievous...so cute though! and he can jump so high! to the top of our fridge-freezer which is close to the ceiling!!!!

  • oh i just watched this video and my cat does that exact same noise what they was syaing at the start and also moews

  • cats are waaaaay better than dogs

  • @lantyboy696 thank you!

  • @lantyboy696 i love both ...

  • @lantyboy696 cats are pretty cool...but a cat would watch you get strangled and not think twice about doing anything...wheres the love?
