U guys kill me with that "Bulls won without MJ" argument. Did U forget the core of their Title Team was "STILL" intact & they ADDED Kerr & Kukoc in '94? OF COURSE THEY WERE STILL A GOOD TEAM!
Those additions helped stem the flow of MJ's absence! That SAME team dropped to 47 wins in '95. MJ returned & LED them to a 13-4 record to BARELY get them in the playoffs & 2nd Rd at that! The next yr, 72 wins & 3 more rings! Now if U think MJ's presence WASN'T needed for any of that, you're crazy!!
thats bulls team was vastly underrated and nearly went to the finlas in 94 without jordan but got alot of bad calls in the knicks series to rip them off of a finals without jordan. i dont thing they couldve beat the rockets without jordan though but they still was the best team in the east without him which shows how good of a team that was and couldve been had jordan stayed with kokoc and all the other adds
Jordan is by far the best ever. Today's basketball players are almost as bad as soccer players...let's get them a "magical" o2 bottle when they are on the ground crying.
Jordan took a beating physically every game. Today's game is designed to keep contact and double teams to a minimum. If Kobe Bryant played the Knicks of the 90's he would have gotten his ass beat. Everyone seems to forget that Jordan led the league in scoring and was defensive player of the year.
Jordan and Kobe are great players. Jordan by far is the better player and Kobe has a chance to go down as a top 5 player from his own era. Jordan should be compared to Shaq and Duncan who are the only leaders with multi-championships. Read my channel description. I guarantee you that it teaches you more about the game and the history of MJ and the history of Kobe.
I'm the biggest bulls fan I know & I know, the Rockets of '95, were better than the Bulls of '95. They simply didn't have the manpower at that time to match up with them. I mean damn, they lost to Magic, who were swept by Houston! Hello?!?!..Now the '96 Bulls or even any of the first 3-peat teams, as far as being in the Finals..yeah, they'd punish any team u put in front of them LOL!! It's like Dickie V says.."it's an NC baaby..(N)o (C)ontest.."
you got to joking.lol MJ and the bulls wasn't the true Bulls team in 95. MJ and his bulls would had beat the Rocket in 6 because Jordan is unbeatable during the final time.
Jordan looked as good as ever the way he played in the first 2 games of the 1995 playoffs against the hornets (averaged 40 points/game).
I think it would have been a really interesting final series, had the bulls gotten past the magic in the east. The Rockets probably were a better team in 95 than the bulls, but you cant help but wonder what miracles MJ might have performed in the finals.
He led the playoffs in scoring that year..after 2 years off!! And people still wanna compare these guys in the league today to him when the accomplishments & #'s clearly indicate a difference & a big one..
The first set of clips in Chicago aren't from the playoff series. No playoff logos on court and the Bulls aren't wearing black shoes :)

The Bulls lose this series without the All-Pro Michael Jordan..
LuigiLaker 4 years ago
nope. They won 3-1.

You misunderstood me. I was saying that as in the Bulls lose if Jordan's not there..
LuigiLaker 4 years ago
my bad..understood ;)

so??? the lakers would lose without kobe, cavs without lebron etc - whats ur point???
every great team without its top star becomes an average team - is there anything more obvious????

They did well enough in '94 without Jordan..would have went to the Eastern Conference Finals had Hue Hollins not screwed them against New York..
