This game was awesome. I remember playing it over and over again, long ago when I was younger, 2003. It was pretty much the game that got me into RPGs (well, pokemon but... Not too rpg like this) good times... It should get a remake! The sprites and animations were awesome, and the music wasn't that bad either. Need to play this again!!!!

Link Techniques. Use 'em. Especially Venus and Moon's Healing Shower which does the same thing as Fragrance. I mean, Fragrance works too, but if you're gonna be replenishing your EP, then you might as well use 'em. I believe Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus have a 3 way link as well. Pretty powerful, Link Tech's. And they consume way less EP then the Senshi's regular attacks. Also, put Amy in there. She can take a damn hit, and her Shabon Spray lowers attack power (for some dumb reason).

Apparently there are two possible battles and endings depending on if your first party survives the battle- if it doesn't tthe Chibimoon will fight a weakened Apsu and you'll get the "bad: " ending, or so I heard.

@Psydkik That's true. I saw both and I can say they aren't so good at all. The "main" final fits more on Sailor Moon's overall story though.

Apsu was weak when I fought against her. All my sailors were 99 level :-), without action replay. Don't worry about leveling up your sailors at all. In Crystal Tokyo/Dark Castle, you can do it easily. Don't forget to get all the hidden puzzles, it'll give you an important accessory.

this battle was easier than most of the boss battles for me :O i just beat it today for the 2nd time. and the attacks didnt do ANY damage on me for some reason

this might sound stupid but..........I've been watching sailor moon forever(when it first played in America) and I've watched a few of the japanese episodes from the beginning....I was wondering since Venus is the leader of the Senshi....is she only the leader when Sailor Moon becomes Serenity or is she always the leader all the time???

Good question! i wondered this too when i was first watching the show. Venus is the leader of the Inners at all times. Moon is royalty so she 'rules' over the others. Since she is royalty the others are sworn to protect her and if your princess/queen goes into battle.. then you kinda gotta do it too :-).

However in the show there was actually fighting between moon and mars about who should be leader up until moon is revealed to be royalty. then the issue became mute.

When I played this (non-translated), I didn't really know how to efficiently beat her. I did attack, but I wasn't doing a lot of damage, mainly because I was getting killed a lot and doing a lot of defending to prevent being killed.  After 2.5 hours, Apsu finally ran out of EP and then I destroyed her.

I hate the Hell attack alittle because it takes up alot of damage but not very alot and i hate the Fandosheckle attack beacuse it takes up alot more damage than hell attack

Yeah, the Hell Attack would often kill all of my Senshi that weren't defending at full HP.

I used cluster form. Moon and Pluto stand in the back. Moon for using item and Pluto for freezing time. I have Saturn stand in the middle. Jupiter and Venus are in the front.

LMAO to anyone who uses Pluto. Of course, she's easily the most bannable character in the game and that's what makes her great : ) Mrbignerd basically just hit the nail on the head. Best way to end ANY boss fight is use Pluto if she's available.

Ah, I do love this game. Even if it is easy to abuse things like the Defend command until enemies run out of MP. Then just have Mars (standing in front) punch the boss until it falls over.

Which team did you use? I used Pluto, Saturn, Mercury, Mars and Moon. Had Pluto cast Time Freeze and the final boss was screwed. Time Freeze, attack with Mars (most of her attacks doing the max 9999 damage) Saturn attack with Death Revolution, have Mercury stand back and heal when neccessary and have Moon use Cologne to restore crystal points. With crystal points restored, guess what, cast Time Freeze again and the process starts all over.

there was a way to reduce encounters. IIRC you had to take a few steps then go to the menu. rinse and repeat. no monsters would show up
