My ears felt like they were going to burst at the start of the trailer, I had my headset at full volume because I was playing on my PSP and just plugged it into my computer without thinking. ;__;

My eyes even hurt from that blast. Anyways, the music from the trailer was throwaway and kinda soulless, hopefully it'll be better in-game. I've waited quite a while for a decent 3D action title on my PSP and I'm hoping Agito fits the bill.

Agito looks like Crisis Core but with the ability to change the "party leader." I wonder how they'll pull this off in a fashion that allows the player to actually control all 3 characters without AI dominating everything.

I'm hoping this is just a showcase of Versus's battle system though. Apparently Nomura said something about it giving nostalgia to older FF games...we'll see.

Whatever they do, I just hope for a fully controllable party. AI controlled party is why I prefer turnbased RPGs.

2. Because the cunts at Microsoft are going to throw money at ANOTHER developer for the purpose of ruining PS3 sales. The XBOX 360 not only takes time to make and delays the game but it also means the PS3 version will not be optimized to one system and the limitations of DVD would be huge. 8.5gb is nowhere near enough for this game.

I don't think Versus XIII is coming to XBOX 360, the producer Tetsuya Nomura is more of a raging PS3 fanboy that I am (only kidding...I love all consoles and just hate the XBOX 360)...

All im saying is that Final Fantasy is a Playstation franchise, and FFXIII was only an exception because Microsoft bribed SE with a mile high stack of cash, I'm surprised SONY didn't take them to court because that was an obvious attempt to damage PS3 sales by using money as a weapon.

Final Fantasy doesn't belong on the XBOX 360, Final Fantasy XIII sales proved this, the fanbase want nothing but shitty generic shooters, they can keep their Halo for all I care.

The XBOX 360 fucked up Final Fantasy XIII's development, not only technically but also how Square Enix tried to make the game appeal to an obese American retard. The time it took Square Enix to bring the game to XBOX 360 and make the necessary changed delayed the game by a good 6 months +. That severely pissed me off.

Also the XBOX 360's DVD storage damaged the structure of Final Fantasy XIII. This is one point all the XBOX 360 fanboys get all hot and bothered about and try to say its a "bogus claim". But i'm sure the fact that Square Enix cutting about 50% of the game's content, the entire free roam section of the game ironically fitting on the last disc and complaints from Square's own employees is enough proof don't you think?

So after Final Fantasy XIII, the game I was absolutely obsessed over, was bribed by Microsoft and altered by Square Enix to fit a western audience and irritatingly removing the amazing Japanese theme songs for Leona Lewis. After the game had 50% of its content cut and the game feeling incomplete. After Microsoft bribing exclusive adverts and bundles.

Also, The Xbox version sold about 480k a long time ago, and continues to rise (Of course the PS3 sold more, but Xbox reached 60 percent of that).

How is it selfish? What about the fans who wanted the most from this game? They lost more customers from the PS3 side than they gained on the XBOX 360 side. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the people who played it on the XBOX 360 despised the game, because they have no interest in or respect for the JRPG genre as a whole.

And the XBOX 360 didn't reach "60% of that", it makes up less than a quarter of the sales of the game.

The statement has a basis. The game was being touted as an exclusive for over 2 years, by both SONY and Square Enix. The announcement of the game had also swayed people into buying a Playstation 3 in the first place.

Square Enix employees have admitted that Microsoft footed the exclusivity breach costs and some of the development costs, god knows what else. This is extremely poor business practice.

When Microsoft were bribing Rockstar for Grand Theft Auto 4, it was understandable because of the huge demand for the game and the fact that the older instalments were on the original XBOX. So why the hell would Microsoft bribe Square Enix for a game that they have no demand for? My logic makes sense. In the end Microsoft need to play by the rules and stop using money as a weapon. I wouldn't have a problem with the game going multiplatform if XBOX 360 owners actually had respect for the fucking game (sales show this). And lastly Final Fantasy XIII is a large game. It requires a lot of time, money and disc space. Final Fantasy XIII ended up being restricted and dumbed down for the sake of a 25% sales increase. Do the math.
