@DuneAlia i know this question was asked like 6 months ago but it looks like no one answered you so i will. i use baby shampoo. its very mild and non-irritating and it makes your rat smell baby fresh! =)
@SheepGo2Hell2 Thanks but I gave up on ever receiving an answer. I give my rats a bath in the tub with lukewarm water and nothing else. Just that makes them perfectly clean. They don't need any kind of soap at all. I have 2 girls. 1 is also mostly white so it shows on her fur when she needs one. After the bath her fur is pure white, just water.
rat owners know that sometimes rats need a bath. we just introdued two new rats and they "scent" mark when they first meet... so they pee on each other. its best to hold them and put them in water with your hands around them so they wont be too frightened. and use a shampoo like a kitten one or baby.
rats are so cute. i need to give my bunch of rats a bath. i think they would have so much fun lol/

Rat owners should know that a rat NEVER need to be washed and the should not be washed....

most rats do that when they get a bath. they dont like baths but sometimes it needs to be done
