i started playing in beta so i guess im a little bias, the whole AE thing changed the game. if AE was gone i would be fine

AE is going to die because they are nerfing the exp on any mission that doesnt contain an even mix of minions, Lts and bosses. Plus, the new difficulty settings are going to give lvl 50s even more incentive to go back to PI for farming...read the patch noted...AE farming is going to die and at least on Champion that is all it's ever used for.....very small # actually use it for creating cool missions

I don't miss the thought of AE farming dying. I hate the AE being used for farming. And if you check out my other videos you'll see I'm one of those people using AE to make /actual missions/.

Nice video, better than most I have seen.  Did energy not have kb back then?

No energy still had knockback but knockback's changed over time. It used to only knock people down until Issue 4. I don't recall if issue 4 was when ragdolls for death and knockback were added. I don't think it was issue 4 and I think it was 6 but I could be wrong, it's been a few years since then.

oh man, if energy was still knockdown instead of knockback that would be amazing. it's the only reason i dont go for energy.

Knockback is no reason not to take energy blast, and knockback is a lot better for a blaster to have in general. It allows you to push enemies into more advantageous positions or not depending on how you move and it works best paired with hover.

Yeah but it isn't great for teaming and I almost never solo. The cone kb and single target kbs arent too bad because you can push em into corners/walls. But nova and the targeted AoE kinda suck when they go in all different directions and you have no control over it

If you'll notice Apollinaris is with a team in all of the action shots in the video. I never solo either. Knockback works just fine in a team situation and I've never had any problems because of it.

This video was originally done on June 22, 2005 so it's been a few years since then. If I recall correctly I had a Nvidia Geforce 6600GT. That video card died a while ago and now I have a Nvidia 8800GTX made by BFGTech which all my other videos are recorded on.
