Have you ever played the game? -.- I used to play KKND2, Starcraft, Red Alert 1 and Total Annihilation in those past times, and TA was definitly better than Starcraft, it had better gameplay and graphics and was far beyond its time.

I like Starcraft 2 alot better due to greater pathfinding, but you can still not zoom out very far, I hope they will change that for final release (yeah I'm in the BETA). Try Supreme Commander, great ZOOM, great gameplay, SC2 is nice but SupCom, too.

And yes, most of my friends liked TA alot better than Starcraft, too. Only thing why they didnt play it as much as the others from that time was that their PCs couldnt handle large scaled maps.

Supreme Commander, the second strategiegame from Chris Taylor, was great, too. But TA still had better gameplay, they changed some stuf. Forged Alliance had a fucking bad performance --> sucks. SupCom 2? Havent tried it yet. Btw 200-400 units per player is normal in SupCom and TA. Just EPIC!

Hmm, your just a sunday player. SC Has much much bigger community than TA and SC is considered as the best RTS of all times, due its being well balanced and winning comes up to pure luck, not to a overpowered unit and its been the "official" sport of south-korea for almost 10 years now. Starcraft graphics may not look anything great, but the gameplay is the best you can have in RTS

Thought something like that. But SupCom relies on pure skill, too. There aren't alot of really good players and it's even harder to find videos of them playing. But when there are two really good players playing against each other it's a hell of a battle. The APM reach incredible numbers. Due to the preorder system you can plan the next 10min, but damn, when you micromanage 200 buildings you don't have the time for it. I say SC2 and SupCom 2 both are great. Better? Matter of opinion.

BTW, Supreme Commander 2 is easier than SupCom 1 and TA! TA still ist the best in my opinion but I love the large scaled epic battles with high graphics of SupCom 2 in multiplayer alot :) Damn good strategie and skills are requierd there, too. I don't think it's harder than Starcraft2, but it's not easier, too. You only know what I mean when you play both games via multiplayer against proplayers :)
