And another time he asked for kids to send him money since he was unhappy about working on New Year's Day.

Im convinced that when i was religiously watching this show, I had no clue of what was going on, lol. I watch JEM on the HUB and I am 28 yrs old now. watching it, and really understanding the storyline....way too involved for little kids to understand. I watch it now, and its almost like watching a soap opera! I just laugh, I find it funny, an it makes me think about good times I had, INNOCENt times as kid. It was a great cartoon...:)

What the hell is wrong with Hollywood studios? This cartoon is long over due for a live action movie. They made Josie and the Pussycats, why isn't anyone picking this up especially at the height of popular TV talent shows i.e American Idol and High School Musicals. Jennifer/Jem had an indentity crisis and she was wondering if Eric likes her or Jem better so she asks her hologram computer to create another persona for her- someone totally different from Jem or herself.. The new image is a Hispanic verson of herself. She meets Eric and Eric falls in love with her again. At the end the computer tells her that it's her personality that Eric loves not Jem or Jennifer or Jenna.
I sugest if anybody wants to have Jem along with Inhumanoids, C.O.P.S., Visionaries, and Maxie's World back as either a new series, comic, or movie. Then write to Brian Goldner at

After I saw this MV for the first time, I was SO sold on Jem! I think this was Jem's first really high-quality song from the entire series. Damn, their season 2 stuff really stands out!

I don't think Jem could ever be remade. In the 80s bands really had big hair and clothes like that, it just couldn't be done now. :(

@voon100 I dont think the studios making this into live action will be a good idea, it'll just be a watered down version of Jem with big stars, big studio sets, and no respect for the original work or its fans...the power of the dollar drives all Hollywood studios :(

What the hell is wrong with Hollywood studios? This cartoon is long over due for a live action movie. They made Josie and the Pussycats, why isn't anyone picking this up especially at the height of popular TV talent shows i.e American Idol and High School Musicals. I would thought they would took advantage of the current trends.

Jennifer/Jem had an indentity crisis and she was wondering if Eric likes her or Jem better so she asks her hologram computer to create another persona for her- someone totally different from Jem or herself.. The new image is a Hispanic verson of herself. She meets Eric and Eric falls in love with her again. At the end the computer tells her that it's her personality that Eric loves not Jem or Jennifer or Jenna.
