I wonder how Obama is doing now, after it was reported that he basically called small-town people in PA as ignorant hicks who don't understand the larger issues facing this country, as I wrote in my editorial. Obama has to work harder now.
The "Media" now biased toward Hillary and of course "Old Man" McCain, are ATTACKING Obama and saying he not Hillary or McCain is "out of touch" with the people in small towns!....Obama, the ONLY candidate that is coming out to small towns and actually listening to their concerns and grievances so that he can fix them!
Now, the media is saying Hillary Clinton, born with a "silver-spoon" in her mouth, who is obviously all about herself, is more in touch.
I wonder what Americans are waiting for. This man should be choosen not elected. i read his mother's story she helped started the micro financing system in indonesia. If he loses i think America might have to drift to third world before they could have another chance at being the world greatest country again.
this man is very clever, he does not only exceed in politics but also in economics and many others! He will definatly sort out alot, not all, of the Problems in the USA. I think He is the one to restore the glory of USA back, to a country that sees not only problems of others but also its own. He seems like he does not want violence and actually would persue democracy and not would not use force, which have seen way to much of under the Bush administration
Either way, it's not funny; there are people out there who actually believe this sort of repulsive, bigoted, hateful tripe and seeing it repeated is just sickening.
lol this guy johnMcCainPrez08 is nuts. Thats why we shouldnt vote for him. Because birds of a feather flock together.Ok, we do all that nuking and annihilating and end up 80zillion dollars in the hole. Meanwhile, the rest of the world is pissed off because we think we bad asses and half of our country will end up behind bars because the price of gas will go up to 40 dollars a gallon. McCain my ass. Obama baby!!!
@1024123: blahblah, so what. You don't know anything about what that actually means, so spare us your ignorance. The US are in deep shit, if you still don't understand what this man will really do for your country, then you're beyond help. If he doesn't become president, you'll be with the whiners who'll accuse others that they didn't appreciate him enough when it mattered. For real, man, just shut your trap.
I think 2 things happened, some people here thumbed you down thinking that showed McCain support.
The second is that again we havent entirely learned the lesson of not being divided. McCain is a respectable american, and deserves respect for many reasons from many.
Although I believe it is self evident that his policies are entirely inaccurate for what is needed, we divide ourselves when we spent time in negativity rather than positivity.
Our economy is thus receding to the point where, in part thanks to rampant money printing by the FED causing the devaluing of our dollar through inflation, our generation is earning less than our parent's generation ... Barack Obama, I see that you recognize this problem and I can only hope that you can change this for the better ...
Malvern Pa, home of Bill Grumpy Jenkins and Chevy horsepower that over came the big corporate bucks of hemi domination. Malvern voters remember that, and they know what to do on APl 22
I am sick and tired of the 3 Royals families and their 28 year rule. Only one candidate spells change in this race. Only one is fresh new blood. Only one is not tied to the royal families.
I think all america should be sick and tired of the same old politics that got us where it is today, clinton and her lies, bill with the scandal, McCain who really will be a third year bush. Make you self proud and vote for something new
With the cost of EVERYTHING, my wife now stays home with the children, because with the high cost of gas, childcare and everything else... It was actually cheaper for her to stay home, than to keep a job to pay for all these things. So now we are a one income family barely making over 30K a year and we're one disaster away from being left behind. I support you Obama, please bring the jobs back home.
Obama is talking about real things that matter. While Billary insists on talking about how bad Obama is and how he can't win. Please Pennsylvania end this Contest so we can focus on McCain and his politics of fear.
It's time to call a halt to the exporting of our jobs to other countries and our tax payer dollars to Iraq, for supporting their own internal Civil War. The Bush Administration has successfully turned the "American Dream" into an "International Nightmare".
It's time to wakeup to the policies of needed and overdue "Change".
Many of us in Ohio voted for Obama and will continue to support his stand for Change and a more properous economy. I am also glad that there are Super Delegates from Ohio, one of the 69 who have so far declared their support for Obama.
Either way, Clinton or Obama WILL be the next President, the party has to pull together for the common good and not overlook the big picture. We can't afford another Bush term in office by letting McCain get in. It's not over...
I have never seen it this bad in America. $3.50 a gallon for gas is criminal,it effects everything. We are now paying more for food & getting less as they shrink their packaging. I can't name one good thing that the Republicans have delivered to Americans. However I can make a list longer than both arms & legs of great things they've done for corporations including the recent bail out of the very people who caused millions to lose their homes. Obama will give the voice back to the people!
What's interesting is that Obama grew up in all parts of the US and in a third world country. Most of my European friends talk well of Obama. I travel on business and the looks I get for being American are not good, thanks to our arrogance in creating wars we have no business getting involved with. They say Obama is going to bring much of the respect lost back to the country. I agree! This man came from nothing to something to the most powerful position in America. He's the American Dream!
Obama has a greater impact on USA. Even though clinton has more experience I think obamas right for the job. Recently I was reading in the USA Today that Clinton promised to bring back over 200,000 jobs to wny,ny but she made an unfilled promise and didn't do it. -GO OBAMMAAAA
We are the ones we've been waiting for and Obama will not be alone with all of us together lifting, helping to bring respect and greatness back to the white house.
The Democratic County Conventions are April 19th in Washington Sate. The Clinton people are planning to challenge the seating of every Obama Delegate. It is time for the dirty tactics, the old politics, and business as usual to end.
"Pain trickles up" <-- another gem in Obama's no nonsense political realism. It made me laugh cause it is so true. We need a leader like Obama who can expose the false ideologies that are more often than not used to disguise special interests.
