these cars are similar but definitel play to different preferences. i have a 335i (with Dinan stage 2 so that probably helps) and i love it. it has everything i feel like i need at 26 yrs old. you can't go "wrong" with any of these and a lot comes down to preference (e.g.: smoothness vs sportiness). i was initially disappointed with the dated look of the BMW but it has grown on me a lot and remains solid whereas those "space-aged" itneriors oftentimes are made from crappy materials and fail.
Car makers make cars to make money, so it is not all about which car is fasters or better, all of those 4 can make awsome cars, but believe me, at this time it is all about making a car that will sell and generate revenue.
Now which brand name stand out, I am sure we all know the answer to that question.

@rvind92g Sorry, none of those cars are currently in production anymore. Many cars can beat the NSX now.. Honda is only good 100hp per liter for TWO liters. Anything after 2 liters, they can't keep up.. the 2012 TL has 3.5 liter and does not even have 350 HP.. Honda Accord 3.5 liter only 270HP..They are only good 2 liters for 200. Honda has basically shifted entirely towards the green movement. They don't care for race cars anymore. S2000 is discontinued along with the NSX.

@JinTakagowa The n54 engines are in all 335i up to 2010 models. The n54 uses twin turbos to power the 3.0 liter inline engine. Starting from the 2011 models, they use the n55 models which is a single turbo twin scroll that also powers a 3.0 inline engine. There were never any superchargers on the 335i.

i have a 10 lexus es 350 and a 10 acura tl.....i love both. the tl i bought mainly because you get everything(options) for a whole lot cheaper than the rest. they are all quality cars. but the TL i bought for ron jon's body kit/wheels......that car with the aftermarket items is sick!!!! stock....it looks kinda ugly with the grill. but it's more comfortable than both the audi, bmw, i narrowed my decision down to the g37 and TL.....went with TL .it was quieter and smoother plus aftermarkets nicer

@TaMereSuceMal I have to disagree, the TL feels anemic in terms of performance and its interior is way too genetically related to its Honda counterparts, it feels like your walking into a fully loaded Accord opposed to an Acura while Lexus and Infiniti although share the same DNA as Toyota and Nissan do a better job at separating themselves from their pure blood partners in terms of design. For the most part Acura is a reliable manufacturer but the TL is far from playing in this league.

BMW & Infiniti are the only cars here who are known for their excellent driving dynamics, they both rival each other head to head more then any other entry class luxury vehicle on the market. BMW & Infiniti offers you the best of both worlds, Luxury & performance. The Acura is confusing, the TSX is intended to rival these competitors not the TL, and the TL is just horrendous but styling is subjective. The Audi A4 is modern and refined but it lacks the power and performance at its price bracket.

The G37 composes a 328HP engine while the Audi S4 being the High performance alternative shamefully carries a 333 HP engine which is stock on a G37 sedan without having to be badged an S-line or an M-series. The only way the A4 can compete with the larger engines in this category is by whipping out the S4.

ive personally have driven a 335 x-drive, and the audi, own a Tl-sh AWD...and in terms of handling...the BMW is great...but if i had to pick the car...it would be the acura only because its a much lighter feel...very nimble, and i like to be in control of my car rather than the car controlling me as i felt in the BMW...and to top it all off the sh-AWD has been rated the better awd system comparted to a Quattro or a X-drive
I've heard Honda may make a V-8 in 2015. They don't need to. Some people have this idea that V-8's some how magically are able to conjure up more power. Well If have a 5 Liter V-6 with VVT, DOHC 4 valves per cylinder, it will have a much higher power even torque output, than the typical American OHV V-8 engine that's a 5L. It's not the cylinders that matter, it's the engine liters. A 4 Liter V-6 is just as big as a 4L V-8.
Ah, re-read my comment and I kind of know what you were saying. My point was that I really don't think you could drive the S4 and say that is sucks. A car that flies to 60 in under 5 seconds, great handling, beautiful interior, great technology. It's been rated a top car by many respected journalist. I'm not saying it's the best car you can buy. It's just a bit off to say that it sucks. Unless your usual car is a Bentley I don't think you would be this negative if you actually drove one.

these cars are similar but definitel play to different preferences. i have a 335i (with Dinan stage 2 so that probably helps) and i love it. it has everything i feel like i need at 26 yrs old. you can't go "wrong" with any of these and a lot comes down to preference (e.g.: smoothness vs sportiness). i was initially disappointed with the dated look of the BMW but it has grown on me a lot and remains solid whereas those "space-aged" itneriors oftentimes are made from crappy materials and fail.

@rvind92g Sorry, none of those cars are currently in production anymore. Many cars can beat the NSX now.. Honda is only good 100hp per liter for TWO liters. Anything after 2 liters, they can't keep up.. the 2012 TL has 3.5 liter and does not even have 350 HP.. Honda Accord 3.5 liter only 270HP..They are only good 2 liters for 200. Honda has basically shifted entirely towards the green movement. They don't care for race cars anymore. S2000 is discontinued along with the NSX.

@JinTakagowa The n54 engines are in all 335i up to 2010 models. The n54 uses twin turbos to power the 3.0 liter inline engine. Starting from the 2011 models, they use the n55 models which is a single turbo twin scroll that also powers a 3.0 inline engine. There were never any superchargers on the 335i.

i have a 10 lexus es 350 and a 10 acura tl.....i love both. the tl i bought mainly because you get everything(options) for a whole lot cheaper than the rest. they are all quality cars. but the TL i bought for ron jon's body kit/wheels......that car with the aftermarket items is sick!!!! stock....it looks kinda ugly with the grill. but it's more comfortable than both the audi, bmw, i narrowed my decision down to the g37 and TL.....went with TL .it was quieter and smoother plus aftermarkets nicer

@TaMereSuceMal I have to disagree, the TL feels anemic in terms of performance and its interior is way too genetically related to its Honda counterparts, it feels like your walking into a fully loaded Accord opposed to an Acura while Lexus and Infiniti although share the same DNA as Toyota and Nissan do a better job at separating themselves from their pure blood partners in terms of design. For the most part Acura is a reliable manufacturer but the TL is far from playing in this league.

BMW & Infiniti are the only cars here who are known for their excellent driving dynamics, they both rival each other head to head more then any other entry class luxury vehicle on the market. BMW & Infiniti offers you the best of both worlds, Luxury & performance. The Acura is confusing, the TSX is intended to rival these competitors not the TL, and the TL is just horrendous but styling is subjective. The Audi A4 is modern and refined but it lacks the power and performance at its price bracket.

The G37 composes a 328HP engine while the Audi S4 being the High performance alternative shamefully carries a 333 HP engine which is stock on a G37 sedan without having to be badged an S-line or an M-series. The only way the A4 can compete with the larger engines in this category is by whipping out the S4.

ive personally have driven a 335 x-drive, and the audi, own a Tl-sh AWD...and in terms of handling...the BMW is great...but if i had to pick the car...it would be the acura only because its a much lighter feel...very nimble, and i like to be in control of my car rather than the car controlling me as i felt in the BMW...and to top it all off the sh-AWD has been rated the better awd system comparted to a Quattro or a X-drive

I've heard Honda may make a V-8 in 2015. They don't need to. Some people have this idea that V-8's some how magically are able to conjure up more power. Well If have a 5 Liter V-6 with VVT, DOHC 4 valves per cylinder, it will have a much higher power even torque output, than the typical American OHV V-8 engine that's a 5L. It's not the cylinders that matter, it's the engine liters. A 4 Liter V-6 is just as big as a 4L V-8.

Ah, re-read my comment and I kind of know what you were saying. My point was that I really don't think you could drive the S4 and say that is sucks. A car that flies to 60 in under 5 seconds, great handling, beautiful interior, great technology. It's been rated a top car by many respected journalist. I'm not saying it's the best car you can buy. It's just a bit off to say that it sucks. Unless your usual car is a Bentley I don't think you would be this negative if you actually drove one.
