all in all im gona sum up this vid. Nice beard bro, hot girl in the background, horrible workout but the leg press machine does look promising everything else looks like crap
Also, that leg press has you set up wrong. Your not getting nearly the stretch you should be getting if you want to make that movement beneficial do your glutes and hamstrings
you should try for a static hold of about 2 seconds. Aim for the 4-2-4 cadence with your workouts if you wanna follow HIT very strictly. 4 seconds for the concentric movement, 2 static, and 4 for the eccentric
The muscles are smart enough to adapt even to HIT training, slow and controlled movement is excellent and produce superb results but it wont work forever,,,your muscles will adapt to the methods and would sease grow, throw in different intensities for a while then go back to hit...trust me it will work better i have tried it...and besides Mike mentzer did the first steps of HIT its up to us to develope it based while recording the results as a proof.
Here is a question: why do you not get any sort of stretch during the pullover exercise? Is it that the machine will not let you or do you not allow yourself?
why so much volume? the sets are pretty short im guessing because of the oxygen debt, The order your doing these lifts in doent make much sense to me either but all in all nice job and this is the best equipment in the world hands down.
wow, you're like the first dude in all of YouTube who actually did the workouts as they should be: nice, slow movements starting from the extreme tension point as i call it with heavy weights. Good Job dude! i bet you where dead busted after that workout
Yeah, thats true. But i bet his workout wasnt very much like some bodybuilders one,but invloved also some jogging and stuff like that.I bet he trained in the gym on the machines only.
@Henzzman i started working out like 4 years ago and still doing it i was going say everybody doesn't take steroids i always joke around about that during work
@Henzzman yeah i am i use to weight 116 lbs but im up to 140s so i kinda look like Taylor Lautner but not gaining much muscle weight don't know how get gain 30 lbs im slowly gaining it
@Henzzman yes i am im slowly gaining muscle weight not much i almost look like Taylor Lautner but after all that he gained 30 pounds don't know how they do it..
why is the lifting at such slow speeds.. i know you should go controlled on the eccentric but ive round big strength gains when doing explosive concentric motions
Medx makes some of the best exercise machines in the world- however I often use free weights as well. HIT stands for high intensity training- meaning brief, intense, infrequent, and safe training. Most people performing "hit" are doing one set to failure.
continued...I don't know if these are all done in a circuit and that will get you in great shape but I think you need to rest to some degree in between to be able to lift heavier weights and create that intensity. I have done superslow training and it works pretty good for legs and for a week or two but afterwards it felt like i was just pacing myself. How do you feel about it?
I rush between exercises performing this type of workout for an enhanced metabolic (cardio) effect, but often times I take breaks between exercises so I dont get burnt out, usually when performing more exercises.
His intent is not to get big, its to leaner, stronger muscle, which is what this type of tempo workout does. Ive been following this workout regiment for a year, I know how effective it is. Keep up the good work bro!
i get the idea off this, it s boring for me train like that, for me is onley important, just power and condition no muscles exuly.

Is this some sort of 'super-slow' retardation?
Good luck with that.

So if i use a high weight and keep doing till failure its considered HIT?
MrZenic 2 years ago
HIT is High Intensity Training. High weight reps=x, then in the same set, Low Weight=2x
Postsforlife814 2 years ago
Thought i heard a clock nice job guys you should always time your sets!

pick a little heavier weight, and lift it in short bursts. will get you bigger faster. you seem to have the patience and enthusiasm required

Eh, Im most interested in approaching my genetic potential. Big, lean, or a combination of the 2, I'm not concerned.
As for this form of training, it can produce either type of result since both are incredibly interrelated IMO.
thanks for the comments guys
