The point of a cover is to look at a song from a different view point, to take what an artist has created and make it your own. I'd rather hear Tool's take on a song than Tool copying Ted Nugent's style. It wouldn't work. Covering a song is about changing and new interpretations. In my opinion, they did a great job.

I noticed random guitar and drum riffs that were in schism...schism does not = stranglehold. This was poorly done. They made it..too "unique" and ruined the fuck out of the song. I love TOOL but I hate when they ruin songs.

I see them every chance I get. I haven't seen them play this one in a long time. "No Quarter," "Demon Cleaner," and "You Lied" are some other gems that are amazing to see.

They used to tour with the Melvins, who always opened up with a Pink Floyd cover. "The Nile Song" and "Interstellar Overdrive" were pretty awesome if you could ever find them.
