I saw Andy do that at the 2010 Bix Festival. Quiote a feat! Like Bix he came back strong after the piano solo. Great coda!

I saw Andy Schumm play Bix by going from cornet to piano in the same song. He was playing with the Dapogny's Chicago Jazz Band in Nov 2010.

i ran into an article in 1997 Smithsonian about Bix and I've been hooked since....everything he does is "with improvements".....
