  • Please, better actors for the next video.

  • cool idear, but sitting so close to the monitor can't be good for your eyes.....

  • you can use a touch screen moitor with a mac, just not multitouch. fools.

  • @Ridetherockittt The reason mac is limited is beacause macs are diffrent. Macs can also run windows with boot camp. I think it can also run linux. The OS on macs are kwl, but PC ill say is nearly the same. Though macs are just gettting used to, so if u used linux and went onto a pc, you will be confused nd will take the same time on mac to find out how to use it. PLUS, in school they do Digital Media used macs. So you should have some experiance.

  • You can just mod your computer screen to make it touch. My brother done it once:)

  • @Ridetherockittt i dont just knw abt alienware i knw lots of things. My dream is to become a engineer, fixing computers and stuff. Though, I get what your saying, PC can upgrade, though when mac comes out with a new opperating system, they are inhansed more then PC. All these upgrades that we have, fills up our hardrive. Eventhough, mac even has updates. I really don't know which is better. We argue so much, mac or pc. Maby Linux is the way to go??

  • These guys deserve oscars. Their acting is ace

  • I'm a fan I microsft but this ain't good... I even saw it glitch when he was sliding his finger

  • ''Your arms start to fall off'' - Steve Jobs

    It's true.

  • @PlRATEBAY yeh ur right

  • yess mac 10.(7) is my idea

  • woah, windows 7 seems like it can do almost anything, lets hope windows 8 can teach people how to act.

  • how did the second guy get that job LOL

  • get a mac nd a magic mouse :)

  • @SecretAgiant1A 10.7, which comes out tomorrow, will support touch screens. You might even be able to run iPhone apps!

  • @MBP6705 kwl

  • @SecretAgiant1A I don't have $2000 to waste

  • @xyz98741 well in the uk a imac 21.4 inch is only 999 pounds. So with the magic mouse nd things its abput 1010 pounds. So if u think about it u should order ur mac from uk ?? -.-

  • @SecretAgiant1A 1010 pounds = $1600 for a shitting broken iMac with the same specs you'd get a $700 PC for. Save your money and get a PC!

  • @xyz98741 I do have a PC as im not rich and wealthy nd i dnt have a mansion. But, iMac is faster and more economical then PC, also it runs smooth and has a ATI Readon (Something like that) in its graphics hardware. Now I dont see a PC having that. (I'm not talking about AlienWare Btw)

  • There are a lot of rumors saying that touch screens will be integrated into OS 10.7. It's great to see how companies like microsoft and apple are really pushing touch screen capabilities into their operating systems.

  • Windows 7 YEAH!!!!!!!

  • in the style of a "netbook" it would be far more practical. Similar to that Acer swivel thing!

  • I like the idea. But I see no practicality to it, for one is it not dangerous that you have to sit that close to a screen? I also don't see how it is any faster. I would much prefer to use the mouse if it was available. I think that "windows touch" is just too impractical for gamers etc and too complicated for people who only use it for messaging and surfing the net. Tbh, I think the Ipad is a far better product as a "netbook" design, than a full computer. If this same technology was used ...

  • Don't like it

if it would be like teble OK but as normal screen,...

  • on portable device it would be more efficient, but anyway! this is window! first version will be full of bugs and we will have to wait a year before the product is stable... mac is still better, and linux is stil the best!

  • It's too bad those are fake recorded tv videos. Man, you guys screwed up Microsoft, where's Bill Gates when you need him? At least he'll probably pick Brad Pitt to be the 2nd guy!

  • I've used one of these computers and you can even see it when he moves the music along that this thing LAGS like crazy... and how much faster can you get when sitting down than just swiping a mouse???

  • mac is better

  • @crazyAlexander23 no mac sucks had both

  • so much easier to use paint?

  • "Yeah I watch and record alot of Tv"

    *opens file with three shows.*

  • This video cracks me up! The video looks like he is showing his mentally disabled cousin his new computer.

  • I have Windows 7 and a multi-touch touchscreen. The UI in Windows 7 wasn't really made for touch, sure you have some functions that are cool (maximize when you drag to the top, on screen keyboard ...), but everything else is just unresponsive and the icon, buttons, menus are way too small to touch. You end up hitting the wrongs things half the time. And I have small fingers... Microsoft, I'm disappointed.

  • the second guy is like "wow! this is great!" lmao

  • terrible acting, slow response time for the touch functionality, crappy navigation UI, and for the love of christ do you honestly HAVE to double click with touch?.......thats just weak

  • say good bye mouse

  • its very good and even I want it but Im sure our hand'll be tired :D

  • i think touchscreen is rlly cool nice and easy,

but it must be annoying move your hand all over the screen to click the close cross and stuff like that

    but yea

    good job

  • fuck bill gates and the windows genuine advantage capitalist nanny state israeli shit software- linux ftw!!!

  • @preludefan please stop hating man..

  • Yeah, And it works on the web 1:32 lol

  • the actors are rly bad

  • do you need a multitouch monitor?

  • @cusford Yes, you will need a monitor that supports touch functionality

  • @WindowsVideos so a single touch monitor wont work? to allow you to drag the screen?

i dont see why it wouldnt work though...?

  • @cusford no not at all. It works on all monitors - even old CRT ones. Another cool function it also has is you don't even need the monitor to be plugged it - or even in the same room/building!

  • @kankaroo tit

  • @cusford I you have a touch screen monitor you can do all of this with Windows 98 !

  • this is SOOOO LAME !

  • Can it works in all monitors like DELL

  • @art123go You'll need a monitor that supports touch functionality.

  • @art123go ew DELL S:

  • OMG I actually couldnt watch this!

My little sister on 2 years could act better than those guys! Seriously!

  • the actors make it look bad

  • touch screen is replacing the cursor lol XD

  • this is like those touch screens in black eyed peas music videos.

  • Primitivo..

  • 

  • how do u play counter-strike:source with whis "touch screen"????

  • @Kkingen Well that's something I'd definitely be interested in seeing!

  • @Kkingen u still can you mouse, I think so should be a problem to play CS

  • @Kkingen I guess you could. But when you're gamming you want to use a keyboard and mouse. That is why there is only very few gamming computers that have monitors that support touch screen functionality. But this would be great for real time strategy games like Red Alert.

  • @Kkingen USE A CONTROLLER. :D

  • All of that stuff would be just as easy with a mouse

  • is this a comedy show?

  • this is stupid --'

  • Hahaha 1:38 1:36 0:56 1:27

  • @HammerEditorPro I think they mean for people who are computer illiterate. Like grandma and grandpa. But I agree that for the most of us it is easier to use a mouse than touch.

  • Why are Apple fans even posting here? This video isn't for you. You have the best computers with the best hardware and the most software then any computer. You own all the patents. What are you afraid of? Go play with your iPad.

  • @Galaktican I have a PC and would never waste my time with over-hyped Apple products but this is pretty awful/hilarious.

MS should just keep it because it is so awful.

  • wow! this really great lol!!

  • Oye!... =\

  • Nice but it's only available for the premium and profesional version.

    That sucks

  • Lame as hell commercial. Amateurish for such a big company

  • @Zacho99 yeah its disturbing.

  • This reminds me of those old time instructional videos they make you watch in sex-ed, health, or safety classes.

  • Macs were always designed for people who can't use a computer properly. PC usage requires a level of skill.

Maybe that was your problem LOL! As for this video, the presentation skills are laughable.

  • @BlackAsBovril Thats kinda funny since macs are used more for professional use and pcs are used more for home and small business. Maybe macs are just a higher level of skill and thats your problem

  • macs are never used for more professional work... maybe the laptop is mac but its always running windows :D

  • @OmegaFuckingWeapon Take a look on the screens of more professional audio studios. They`re running mac os x...

  • MY parents bought that computer and it kept freezing up when u tried to use the tough screen.

They then bought a Mac :)

    

  • Lol they suck at acting!. but seriously i dont think that this is such a good idea

  • i own a mac, but this is actually a really cool computer. ive seen a lot of the arguments in the comments, so what acually is the strengths and weaknesses of macs and windows?

  • you can put windows on your mac, but generally mac software compatibility is rather bad

my issue with apple is they want to own the whole market they want everyone to buy from their stores and only their products they want to create a monopoly and i do not agree with this model . an example with mac os is that it will only run on very specific hardware and they dont want anyone else to ship mac os on a pc (remember psystar?) apple sued them because they were shipping macos on pc's

  • omg this is so bad

  • This is a joke. Which is easier, using your wrist to use a mouse, or to sit up and reach across your desk and swing your arm over a 24" screen?

  • What about nerd rage? they will end up breaking their monitor!

  • we have got a scroll on our mice to actually SCROLL okay?

    thats much easier.....

  • bad actors!

  • @thenotoriousadin thats what i thought :D

  • @thenotoriousadin hahaha yeaahhh...specially the second one.. xD

  • Ok love the touch features but its on a desktop. why not use the mouse and keyboard its 10x's faster. besides this feature works best with laptops.

  • Lmao that second guy is the worst "Yeah! and it works on the web!"

  • Cheese, please.

  • ahh the power of windows Like a iGEEK said "it fits my needs"

  • How much would that SAME EXACT computer be? I got $12K waiting to be spent =)

  • @FactorXTech Maybe about 900 -1100 dollars USD

  • I saw that one in a shop. Its very fun) but not more than a toy imo

  • umm its not great :|

  • actually, the Windows XP Tablet was BEFORE Mac even started designing a tablet. Beat that!

  • Man that guy cant act..

  • they look so enthusiastic

  • Windows touch? With a little touch of Apple? You guys, really need to quit stealing ideas of apple. And any microsoft fan boy fagg saying it isn't so, needs to OPEN THEIR EYES. C'MON! Microsoft never used touch... only on their gay windows mobile. And all of a sudden now a computer? Did you notice that the features were just like the one of a macbook? The table microsoft is devolping is new, and NOT stolen. Try to keep THAT up microsoft.

  • who came out first? PC or mac?? soo who's stealing now. -_-''

  • hurr durr

you do realise touch has been in windows since windows 98? oh oh? riiiight

and you do realise that the microsoft surface had pinch to zoom etc and this was before the iphone came out?

alrighty then, off you go poppet.

  • Who's talking about Iphone? The pinch and zoom function were in the macbooks all the time.

But you know what, you win. Microsoft is the best. Happy now? I'm sick and tired of you fanboys.

  • no they werent, those multitouch gesture functions on the trackpad came out... last year (maybe 2008 earliest)

    and yay ^_^

  • you sir are an idiot. Microsoft didn't steal anything....

Do you really expect multitouch gestures to be different for every device that isn't made by apple?

Think of them as common sense. Its pretty much your turn signals in your car....every car has them. Every touch device will be similar....its the quality of the actual interface and the device itself you should care about.

And yes....I own a macbook pro with a gesture pad >_>

  • True.

And yes, of course I care about the quality of the products.

But nevermind, we could go and discus this for ages...

  • 1:18 he wasn't even on the right screen.

  • macs suck

  • HERPA DERRRRRRRRRRRRP

  • i like that but i cant have a touch screen pc.the problem is my 3 year old brother.he likes to play computer but he meses up with the files. i have xp and i just unplug the mouse and he cant do anything.but now my dad wants to upgrade it to windows 7 and since windows 7 has screen touch my brother will go nuts.he will delete everything even the operating system.thats the problem that i cant have a touch screen pc.

    but its cool anyway

  • @benboy3236 ..... Just one question for ya: Does your PC monitor is touch sensitive ?....I mean you're not thinking that you're gonna get touch interactions by only installing Windows 7... You need to have a touchscreen pc monitor (that's expensive)

  • yeah i know but thanks for the reply anyway.

oh and my dad wanted to buy a touchscreen monitor.

  • password protect your pc. ever tought about it?

  • it's about screen touch .. idiots .

  • isnt there like alot of problems with this

if anyone knows please let me know

    im thinking about purchasing it.

    thanks

  • QUE GUEVA ME DA

  • es un pinche ipod touch pero con la mierda windows ^^

  • wonder how long will it take for your hand to get tired poking the screen

  • aburridooo!

  • ... and to think that this touch-screen computers were used in sci-fi films. The "future" is closer than you think! In fact, we're technically more advanced than the Jetsons XD

  • is it tue tht u r still supporting windows 98 and is it true tht ull be supproting XP until 2014?

  • i think that the screen is a computer!

  • I think it's a HP touchsmart all-in-one PC.

  • "Wow, I really like that."

    Wow, Convincing Carl.

  • lmao

  • a good screen is about 3k $ for a 17inch

software is built in windows 7 just like voice control.

  • do u have to get that computer or does windows 7 come with it?

  • What?

  • does the touch screen apply for internet search??

  • theyre not bragging about having touchscreen, theyre bragging about making it nicer and easier to use. even windows xp could be made to use touchscreen but it wasnt that easy. put it this way, mac brags about being able to burn dvds and cds, also brags about email and webcam. and some peopel thought THIS was behind. hell pc bragged about dvd burning in 2002, cd burning in 1998 and email in 1996

  • they had this for the last 10 years its nothing new...

  • It's the Big Brother of the iPod Touch xD

  • No... Ipod Touch are Macs.... not Windows...

  • how do i get it???

  • Apple is smarter than Microsoft. Any of you think your arm would get tired reaching up to your screen and smudging it repeatedly to do what you could have done with a two finger swipe on Apple's new Magic Mouse or on a laptop trackpad? Apple could easily put touch into a screen like this, if it made sense, but it doesn't.

Apple will have a touch screen computer with multi-touch gestures built into it, but it will be on the tablet, iPhone and iPod Touch, where it belongs, where it makes sense.

  • Where do you get the idea that Microsoft has anything to do with the system? Microsoft has nothing to do with the hardware, they have developed gesture based multi touch integration into their OS and software. Of course it's not going to replace the keyboard and mouse on a desktop PC, that's not it's intention. But pc's have a growing functionality besides the desktop, with things like tablets, Kiosks and media centres, touchscreen offers a far more practical solution.

  • God....that's gotta be some of the worst acting ever. I had a feeling I was watching some nervous kid in his school play. Yeah, it's really good... come on. Get real.

  • Could you tel me if I can use it on NON TOUCH monitors? (does it sound stupid :-S )

  • No, you can't.

  • This would be awesome for a home touch screen jukebox system. Asus EeeBox + Touch Screen!!!!

  • "Asus EeeBox + Touch Screen"

    You mean the Asus EEETop?

  • Oh I totally forgot about the EeeTop! Thanks for reminding me!

I was thinking of the EeeBox for it's slim design but I forgot that Asus made an All-in-One.

  • still rather a mac...

  • That guy on the left seems to be totally superfluous in this video.

  • Охуенно просто всё.

  • a tablet is better

  • I work on ppls computers all day and this is actually a really bad ass computer and very easy to use!!! I want one...

  • Looks very gimmicky.

  • you're gonna have a sore arm and hand after a while

  • Nope i have that computer and i always use the touch feature its easy and i never get a sore arm : )

  • I Agree Great Observation

  • i want one :(

  • dis seems a lot like a giant ipod touch xD

lol pretty cool but i dun think i wanna extend ma hand out to da screen

specialy when u r in dat rly lazy mood

  • wow some people are extremely lazy

  • lmfao yes i am xD

just an opinion it wouldnt be too confortable to use touch screen on da computer

  • nah man, I mean for my dorm room. I'm not bothering with a laptop. I can write faster than I can type.

  • is that truth

  • that other dude had no input to that video at all!! ha... ! Windows 7 is pretty epic tho! just got pro

  • what about finger prints and that kinda sems like a step back to me for somereason i dont think i would get a computer like that

  • so cheesy

  • this vid looked a parody or some sort

the touch pc thing delayed and lagged the whole time and then the other guy was like "wow this is great. thats really good" in a somewhat sarcastic tone with a funny face

  • lol

"and it works on the web!"

BAD ACTING BAD ACTING BAD ACTING!

But seriously, I'm getting this for Uni.

  • init well bad acting i could tell it was totatly acted and fake lol

  • the user experience here is nothing compared to what you can already do on your iPhone... and soon to be mac tablet pc
