My father is into Esperanto, and I met several people in the club my father went to who spoke Esperanto as their first language, or along with another, when I was a little kid. I still know some of them. Esperanto has helped me form several lifelong friendships.
I consider myself a "language nerd" who considers the "idealist" portion as icing on the cake. (The only difference is that I don't use every chance I get to talk about other languages: only when It's relevant. ;D)

There's nothing interesting about a 18th century invention, like using pseudo-agglutinating affixes designed to merge into one unit, or ingenius about having *case* agreement on adjectives.
I was thrown off by the year/century disconnect. Not that big a difference or deal.
Again with the subjective beauty.
Does Esperanto not have pseudo-agglutinating morphology where the biggest inflection conists of -ojn? That's really not much better than the similar -os of Spanish, except one is slightly shorter.
Does Esperanto not have case agreement? Most languages, if they even have distinct adjectives, don't inflect them at all, and the ones that do often only inflect for number.

I'd call myself a mix of idealist and hedonist. There's something about a language that's meant to bring people together...
Vivu Esperanto!

Esperanto was invented in the 19th century, and it's a beautiful language. It's a shame you need to post your uneducated opinions.

Everywhere one finds your negative comments based on useless speculations/pseudo-knowledge.
