But, actually, if you do some research on how they scream you'll realize that it has nothing to do with rasping your voice (which is what i thought they did). I can't remember exactly what they do, but I know for sure it's not as painful as you may think)

you sound as if you're constricting your throat when you scream. When you do that... you can hear cracks in the vocals... makes it sound very bad. Go see a vocal coach and learn to sing with your diaphragm, then apply the same principles you learn into your screaming and you'll have a much better sound.. good luck. :)

I sortof agree with the guy who said you are a good screamer but not too good a singer, but don't think you should give up singing tho. You have potential in both areas, IMO.

One important thing tho: Sing louder. Not like turn your mike up or move it closer, use your voice more. You sing very weakly and thus it tends to tremble more easily, and also it's harder to stay on key and it will ruin your vocal chords. Same goes for the screams, could be more powerful, they lack a bit "desperation"
