@IrkenNin 6's "craziness" is insight that every person has, but it doesn't always come up front. The scientist, like all humans, has different aspect to the personality of his soul, and each stitchpunk has a different one of these qualities. 6's is the child and knowing. Being that 6 is the only "child" forsay, he seems crazy is really just quite different from the others, and I think that's why he didn't associate with the others until 9 came. 6 knew 9 would understand him.
