  • You must do one with The Crowing

  • @knightsof2hearts i had the same experince i love coheed forever becuase of that

  • I would say that the quartet had a better chance at standing out to start, but after all the craziness, nothing can really capture it the way guitars, and whaling voices that seem to call from beyond. Good one though.

  • this is pretty damn amazing

  • As a comparison, there's the awesome viola solo, or Claudio. Hmmm....

  • The first time I heard this song I was sliding down a chimney and as soon as the first notes caresses my ears, I began to eat all of the little spiders around me and when I got to the bottom of the chimney I declared aloud, here little boys and girls. Here is a copy of Coheed's greatest CD ever. Enjoy it and be merry! Then I puked spider legs in their stockings.

  • this is love in the form of sound<3

  • Strings go SO WELL with Coheed, especially this song. Thanks for sharing this this, it's perfection.

  • DUDE, thank you,

    i cried after this :'D

  • I don't know what to say, just thank you to Co&Ca the String Quartet, and you bornhey.

  • 1:56-2:09 it sounds regularish, but this is the best like 2 things put together, u did one hell of a job.

  • Is there a link where I can download this? you did a helluva job doing this

  • This is fucking incredible.

Although there were a couple choppy moments between the two in terms of sound, the ending pulled it all together beautifully.

    Well done!

  • This fusion just adds a whole other element of awesomeness to this song, I absolutely love it, and now that I've heard it I don't know if I'll be able to listen to the original album version the same way again even though its just as awesome by itself I love it

  • This is amazing.

  • This is great =D I'd have loved to hear a little more harmony from the strings, rather than just following the melody. Great job though :)

  • From the second I heard this album from the string quartet, it was amazing, but left me wishing soooo much that the album had been made with an entire orchestra. The music is perfect for it. You can tell from that quartet album. Gosh, I wish it could happen. Any of the four albums. I don't care.

  • In Keepin Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 has been. Its on iTunes, Im not sure about the singing arrangements though, like it could be Claudio, I havent actually listened to it.

  • Coheed and Cambria needs to do an album that features VSQ... this sync proves that it needs to happen.

  • i can cover this song the only problem with me is that i dont have a camera

  • im not emo AT ALL , but great job, you gotta love the violin..so melodic..

  • best VSQ song by farrrr

  • this is such an amazing song. I tried to cover it - watch it and let me know how I did!

  • If you can pull off light and the glass on acoustic (some parts left out), girls rip off their shirts. especially if they like coheed.

  • lol.

i melt when my boyfriend plays this for me on his acoustic.

  • i know thats how i first got laid lolz

  • Not too well synced, sorry. This could be great, if you spent a little more time on it.

  • wtf @ the emo comments ppl have to this song...the light and the glass makes ME think about awesome giant alien war robots fucking duking it out with machine guns and rocket launchers and other ultra rad shit that hasn't even been invented yet...NOT wrist slitting and all that faggot shit...

  • Well stated tea bagging you, well stated.

  • hahahaha i was thinking the same thing fuck emos

  • fuck you its about the fucking music, go somewhere else to bitch about steriotypes

  • no no no haha i wasnt calling coheed and cambria emos i was just saying fuck emos ima coheed fan i was just aggreeing with teebag bout the robot thing lol

  • haha, i just can't stop laughing. this is gr8.

  • Comment removed

  • Get a tampoon you emo kiddy.

  • hahaha. agreed.

  • hahaha i just lol'd

  • "Wah...I just got so many feelings" Go cut yourself...not seriously, though. Go get some meds.

  • yeah, it doesnt sound good with the tracks mixed, but separate, they are both amazing.

  • @gsf422 What!? are you fucking deaf!?

  • anyway how i could get the song from you?

  • It would be better if you get rid of the instrument track that is supposed to compensate for the vocals and only have the vocals from the original track playing with the rest of the quartet.....

  • it would not.

  • damn good job, i love it <333333

  • LOVE IT . :)

  • pray for us all

    amazing vid

    ;)

  • Light and The Glass=the most badass mellow song ever.

Seriously, this song is just amazing.

  • this song is what keeps me from doing things i regret, they should've gotten an emmy or something for this this song has kept me from going emotinally unstable it helps me everyday, I thank you for posting this song, u deserve a medal coheed and cambria

  • this is a masterpiece..

  • I bought the Vitamin String Quartet tribute. its awesome but his is plain AMAZING,

  • amazing combination.

  • Awesome and is that Paris Earth?

  • This. . . is . . . amazing . . .

  • I just love this song.. This is my favorite of all.

There is no song that i think is more brilliant than this one.. This song makes me feel much lighter, more happy..

And the lyrics.. Claudio is the best songwriter i've heard :'D

  • i almost brake into tears singing along to this song... This song reminds me of someone I would rather forget though.... For those that say anything bad about coheed and cambria, I know it sounds cheesy and fake, but there music stopped me from killing myself.

  • @Knightof2Hearts It's something crazy, when you find a spark of something beautiful and the shadows peel away

  • @Knightof2Hearts

    Did you also jizz?

  • i think i just came. o_o

  • Same. The part "Your father's dead, he passed in his sleep..." always gives me chills for some reason. ^^;

  • That's crazy! I thought I was the only one it did that to. I always get chills from that part. ^^

  • For me the big chills are the "pray for us all" bit at the end, it's beyond epic sounding.

  • oh my god! that part always give me the chills, and i have to re-re-rewind the song.

  • which part?

  • Brilliant. I love Coheed. Thank you so much for uploading.

  • Good. Only complaint is the strings are a little too loud, and sometimes it's harder to hear Cladiuo.

  • this is going straight to my ipod! thanks

  • There is a god....

  • holy shit maybe Coheed should think about doing something like this for one special show... that would be dope.

  • HOLY SHIT. WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE.

    seriously. woah.

  • damn, i can't get it to sinc up when i do it. It's just a second off right?

  • it's off all the time. you have to make about 50 cuts and adjustments.

  • god the string solo melts my face so hard... Great job guys. I'd be interested to hear you guys play to the acoustical version. /thumbs up

  • lol, its not a band of guys in this version.

its been synchronized/dubbed with more music over the top, and parts faded etc.

its Co&Ca playing The Light And The Glass (which is mainly acoustic anyway) ut this guy has made it more classical sounding...

    and its uber :)

  • Thanks for these.

  • Pure Awesome. Great mix.

do you think you can put the MP3 of the mixes that you have on a site like Rapidshare or Megaupload?

  • this is a masterpiece

  • true dat

  • sweet mix dude, it's neat to hear how great a job string quartet did synced to the original (which is just amazing).

please don't use the old-film effect on the picture, though, it makes it a bit more interesting to look at but it makes the file on youtube much bigger (since the frames are different) so it takes like 10x longer to stream.

  • sounds good ;)

  • Awesome job!...I love when he hits high notes accompanied by the strings. It makes his voice sound so eerie and sweet...

  • it sounds great, try doing the crowing :)

  • another great mix man!
