That car with the GTO badge, is not a GTO. Thats a 68 Catalina. the 68 and 69 GTOs never had a nose that big. That was only on the Catalina and Bonneville cars.
Lemans and GTO cars all through production we're basically identical, seeing as the GTO was first offered as an option on the 64' Lemans cars. Besides the badging and a few other small differences, they were alike side by side. After looking at some other photos, I gotta agree. It is a re-badged Lemans car. Or so it appears. Its the nosecone that threw me off.
Very sad video. Not only the cars but some of the crashes: Hope the people made it out alive. Most of those nuscle cars were great going fast in a straight line, but turning with speed was a different thing.

I know about a Big Block 67 Vette. Friends brother stole in 1968, and has been sitting in a barn ever since.Had 1,274 miles on it. Has hay pilled on it and every once in a while i take a pitch fork and see if it is still thear.

this dude is a fucking faggot i know where this is at, i've seen those exact cars, they're smash up yes, but some i actually started myself, i was afraid if i tried to go somewhere they'd fall apart, the car at 0:58 i started, creeked like a mother fucker so i shut it off, the chassis probally barely held me and im like 130 lbs.

@zourtman I've seen fords that haven't seen the light of day for aver 30 - 40 some years. That have been sitting in barns and even ones sitting in pastures. You throw a lil gas in the carb, change the oil ( maybe ), and give a good battery, and they start.

@vettecankill Yeah I know where it is too. I lived not too far from there. And if you are talking about the 64 you must have started it many many years ago. When I saw it last it just had the block in it without the heads or intake. I was conceived in the back seat of one just like it lol. The one I wanted the parts from this one for to be exact.
