For example, 3 year Pyongyang's goverment, and 3 year Seoul (goverment change every 3 years); or establishing new small city on the border of those two countries (on DMZ), but first clearing out DMZ from barricades and mines. New city on the DMZ would be costly, but the best solution - and the goverment in that city should be composed of equal number of North and South Korean politicians and decision makers.
Plus, purely capitalistic goverment would be disaster. Communism is way better and much more fair to ordinary people (to big majority of people), but it should be a little bit modified to primarily look for benefit of their own people (Korean people - both North and South ones in this case) and to make equal society with no social classes or with little difference between social classes.

lol not quite. Most of the gentlemen on both sides especially the north are officers. So they are held to a certain standard by their respective chain of command. But apparently the North soldiers were making racial slurs pretty much all day at the South's guys. Long story short the US LT colonel in charge told both North and South to shut it (in Korean) lol then he removed the South soldiers to cut the tension. nobody said a word after that, and really, it doesn't happen that often at all.

We were the only one who got pistols other than the officers, NCOs and tank crews. We look like we don't train as much as other soldiers such as Marines or Army, but hell our training is damn tough. We do twice as other battalions and we have to also train for standing absolutely still.

@stnewton09 man I had to stand guard on those things (I was in the South Korean Military Police) We just don't stand guard in front of those buildings, I have to patrol around inside the DMZ on full guard. Yeah, they have more soldiers than us, but seriously we'll just mow them while they charge at us
@woo1693 I heard rumor that some don't actually carry weapons. They don't issue TA-50 like we do (to every damn cook, clerk, mechanic, etc). Helmets only, and only to forward units. Yet every Soldier and Marine we have can shoulder a rifle and is equipped to fight if need be. They remind me of the Germans when they would issue medals just so field uniforms would be shiny and intimidating. We'll have HHC/H&S companies killing DPRK by the hundreds 'cause of snipers. @stnewton09 No, not a Katusa.... but I did speak English since I started studying in Canada when I was in Grade 3. Infront of the blue building, no they don't issue rifles, all they give you is a pistol to carry around. I worked inside a guard post, the one right behind the bridge of no return, we have M60s aimed straight at the North Korean Guard posts. We were issued K2s there, along with grenades.
@stnewton09 Also, yeah they issue blanks to the soldiers in reserve, only real bullets in the shooting range. However in case of emergency, they have real bullets in the armory (like every single country). It maybe different now, this was 5 years ago
@woo1693 Yeah in garrison we don't carry ammo. Blanks and MILES gear for training, live rounds for the range. On a guard post like you were, obviously we're fully armed. I heard a lot of ROK tries to get KATUSA because ROKA is a bit...brutal. Like they beat you and stuff, and they think US forces are more professional with more educational opportunities. Any truth to this?
Even in the US Army, the only people I'd fear in combat are Israel and ROK. I heard about how you guys fought in Vietnam.

lol not quite. Most of the gentlemen on both sides especially the north are officers. So they are held to a certain standard by their respective chain of command. But apparently the North soldiers were making racial slurs pretty much all day at the South's guys. Long story short the US LT colonel in charge told both North and South to shut it (in Korean) lol then he removed the South soldiers to cut the tension. nobody said a word after that, and really, it doesn't happen that often at all.

@shadowhunter388 sometimes they do. when i was there, i witnessed a short shouting match that was quickly ended by the MP removing and replacing the two SK guards with two different guards who kept their mouth shut.

@JUKIO01 For someone who is half Korean you sure don't study your Korean History! At one time Korea was part of the Japan Imperial Empire. When WWII ended it was decided by USA and Soviet Union to police up the Japanese military! Both decided to make the 38 parallel as the boundary while they police up the Japanese and send them home! That is when Stalin decided bring in Kim Il Sung as his puppet to run the Northern part of Korea, Goggle Kim Il Sung and maybe you understand better!

Im assuming you havent witness where North and South families meet up every year. Only 500 families can contact North and South each year. Its not that the 2 koreans hate each other, its just that the North Korea government is controlling the nation and will take military action to co-operate.

We were the only one who got pistols other than the officers, NCOs and tank crews. We look like we don't train as much as other soldiers such as Marines or Army, but hell our training is damn tough. We do twice as other battalions and we have to also train for standing absolutely still.

@federeriscol I dont know if accidentally stepping a half foot to the wrong side will get you shot, but there have been minor skirmishes along the boarder... but nothing that either side would want to go to war over.

@stnewton09 man I had to stand guard on those things (I was in the South Korean Military Police) We just don't stand guard in front of those buildings, I have to patrol around inside the DMZ on full guard. However seriously these guys NEVER wear camo at all. There tactical vest looks outdated like hell and seriously when I was in the Army (which was about 5 years ago) THEY STILL HAD AK47s. Yeah, they have more soldiers than us, but seriously we'll just mow them while they charge at us

@woo1693 I heard rumor that some don't actually carry weapons. They don't issue TA-50 like we do (to every damn cook, clerk, mechanic, etc). Helmets only, and only to forward units. Yet every Soldier and Marine we have can shoulder a rifle and is equipped to fight if need be. They remind me of the Germans when they would issue medals just so field uniforms would be shiny and intimidating. We'll have HHC/H&S companies killing DPRK by the hundreds 'cause of snipers. Were you ever KATUSA?

@stnewton09 No, not a Katusa.... but I did speak English since I started studying in Canada when I was in Grade 3. Infront of the blue building, no they don't issue rifles, all they give you is a pistol to carry around. I worked inside a guard post, the one right behind the bridge of no return, we have M60s aimed straight at the North Korean Guard posts. We were issued K2s there, along with grenades.

@stnewton09 Also, yeah they issue blanks to the soldiers in reserve, only real bullets in the shooting range. However in case of emergency, they have real bullets in the armory (like every single country). It maybe different now, this was 5 years ago

@woo1693 Yeah in garrison we don't carry ammo. Blanks and MILES gear for training, live rounds for the range. On a guard post like you were, obviously we're fully armed. I heard a lot of ROK tries to get KATUSA because ROKA is a bit...brutal. Like they beat you and stuff, and they think US forces are more professional with more educational opportunities. Any truth to this?
Even in the US Army, the only people I'd fear in combat are Israel and ROK. I heard about how you guys fought in Vietnam.

They were asking the guide if we were "robots" since we just stand there. I was about to call them a dumbass than I figured out if I did, I'll get myself in shit loads of trouble.
