Thank u my SISTAH calocatelli! I very much appreciate both the correction AND the amplification on Mestrando Jamaika's background. Btw,my request regarding weapons was borne from the fact that rarely do I see mestres nowadays displaying the incredible weapons skills that capoeira history attributes to mestres past. I was merely curious if Mestrando Jamaika developed his weapons game as well as his magnificent empty hand game.Again,thank you my SISTAH!

You're welcome my brutha calicatelli! Mestrando Jamaika is AMAZING! Does he also do Capoeira Angola and weapons? What city and state does he teach and reside in? Who is/was his instructor?

He really is amazing! He teaches in Salt Lake City, Utah, and he has his own capoeira group called Volta Miuda, but trained under Mestre Demetrius and Mestre Loka years back. Weapons? what do you mean? I don't think there are any videos of him with actual weapons..just his incredible capoeira game! =) Oh, and it's sista calocatelli btw! ;)

Is that Mestre Amen Santos? And these mestres are demonstrating actual fighting ability so nobody can keep promoting that fiction that capoeristas can't fight.Lol. Like a fighting art that kept quilombos safe for nearly 100 years from slavers during slavery doesn't work.Idiots. Lol.
