That's because Best of Youth was the film of their life, I mean, they had that idea since 1990 and the movie is is based on what really happened to them and really close to their heart. This is a smaller film, taken from a book, not from their lives. And the director, Luchetti, has nothing to do with Giordana (best of youth director).

i',ve gone all Euro -mainly Spain France Italy.American movies aren't giving me what i need -dialogue .interesting stories .motivation etc etc.i like the interplay between the brothers and their comlicated brotherly love for each other.there is truth here.excellent performances all round.a life long fascination with Italy continues for me.Ciao

NOTE TO THINK FILM: If only the film had subtitles with heavy black outlines, like this trailer does, you could read them? What in the hell are companies like yours thinking, investing several million in a film and promotion, and $25 in subtitles with barely an outline???????????????????
