As a matter of fact, Rhymefest gave the sample to me before he gave it to Kanye. One of Rhymefest's friends found the sample and told him he would only give it to him if the producer made the beat for Rhymefest. I was taking too long to make the beat, so Rhymefest gave it to Kanye. Kanye took a while to make it, but when he played it on the phone for us, we lost it! We recorded Fest's verse at Kanye's crib, but apparently Kanye didn't like it.
