youd be better laying on the ground waiting for the fight to be over than getting picked up in the middle of a battle by that thing an injured soldier could crawl faster and get to cover before that thing did not to mention it pretty big target
If robots do ever get good enough to efficiently pluck injured troops safely out of battle zones then robots will probably also be good enough to replace the front line troops there in the first place!
haha ya true, but if this could work, its a great idea! i think robots are totally the way of the future. having made a few of my own, including one that can interact with people all on its own, i know that robots have soooooooo much potential
I agree but not in evry type of use, this medical use is not right at all for me, the robot can do many thing wrong and worster the patient situation.
a robot can only do what its programmed to do. if a robot is told how to react to every situation and act on the spot, it can actually be much safer than a human
That is a very common response to new technology. Where is your sense of proportion between risks and benefits? Also as potential risks go - unimaginative.
Oh no! We will all die by the hands of remote controlled segways!

why is it a bear robot? Bears are godless killing machines. If I saw THAT coming at me in battle. I'd be begging my company to frag my ass

You should credit Stephen Colbert when you use his jokes.

that is just a prototype..proof of concept. You gotta give them credit for being able to hold 400 lbs too and stay upright and move around

@crftubing yeah but why not design it with four wheels to enhance stability. It looks like its on the verge of falling. Imagine unstable ground...

Another thing is that the patient may have convulsion after an accident, so a human is the only way for now...
