  • WOW. I hope you got that landlord in trouble! That's trespassing! Landlord or not, you're renting that place for yourself!

  • You have my sympathies. I had a landlord who did exactly the same thing. He lived across the road and he would come in 'to check the place was ok' when I went out, and he would harass me the moment I returned each evening. He would knock/rattle the letterbox and if I didn't answer within a minute or so, he would walk straight in. I eventually put a chain on the door to stop him, but he would stand banging on the door until I answered. It was a horrible experience.

  • if i caught my landlord in my apartment i would beat him like an intruder.

  • It looks like she's showing the place to either sell or rent to the next tenant.

As long as she gives you notice she's well within her rights to show the apartment.

  • @MrDontuo landlord gave no notice.read the description.

  • When you move in to any rental property you have the right to change any and all locks and should do so . I always do . I return the original locks to the doors upon leaving and take mine with me .Takes only a few minutes , no special skills at all and gives me peace of mind .

  • That lady has picked up a panty fetish guy and she,s charging him like 30 bucks to wank off in your underpants lmfbo ha ha ha

  • This was a horrible experience? It looks like some sort of inspection or that she is showing the apartment. I mean, "horrible experience" might be if she caught you in bed with someone or you were in the shower. Lucky you that it wasn't worse.

  • @chronicreader was there an appointment for that? was the house-guest ready? common sense and proper etiquette says you make an appointment with your tenant. either you are in the forties or from the moon

  • Had something similar happen to us but we were actually home and she came and brought another couple to look at our home i was in the kitchen making dinner and our children were playing in the living room all because she said we were 2 days late on rent we had just got our paychecks that day and paid her as well as late fees but very unbelievable especially when we had NEVER once been late!!!!

  • Nothing aginst you adrock1999 but you should have left a 10 inch dildo running on the kitchen table!!!! Bet she would have left in a hurry if she saw that!!!

    ha ha ha ha

  • This looks like she is showing your apartment. If you are moving out, have given your notice she can show it whether she told you that or not.

  • the landlord isn't even supposed to enter the home without notice either... at least I'm fairly certain that's the law dependant on where you are...

  • I bet she was going in there and having sex on your bed.

  • Look at your lease. Does it say that they have the right to show it to prospects if you have given notice to move?

  • you should have come out of the room naked and said " wait a minute"!! That would end that shit!....didn't she have a lease? stating the 24 notice for coming inside?

  • I feel your pain. I'm currently moving out of my current situation because my landlord actually came into my room while I was away without permission and LIT CANDLES IN THERE. Lol, creepy right? He said it was because there was a weird "odor." Sure buddy. He also took it upon himself to take out my trash. Aw, how nice. Or it would have been were it not drop dead CREEPY. /facepalm. Seriously, when you rent out a room the renter does not become your personal human doll people.

  • Question: did you take her to Court over this, because if you had, you could have gotten two months rent abatement or even money, I had my landlord come into my apartment to confront me because of her family harassing me , I'm in a battle right now, I hope you didn't walk off with expenses that she could have paid for?

  • this is why I don't give the landlord a proper key to my residence...screw the laws.

  • landlords and maintenance CAN come into your apartment , only if there is a specific problem or request !! After all that is their property you only rent from them

  • @truepass2679 with 24hr notice before they enter

  • @truepass2679 Only when there is an emergency or when proper notice is given (notice depends on state). Most of the landlords I have had have been great. Unfortunately, my current one is a raving bitch. Comes off as very nice then becomes a lunatic after you move in.

  • A landlord should let his tenant have some privacy, but in the meantime I understand landlord's point of view. It's their investment. That is why I would never rent/rent to.

  • What were they looking for a buried treasure chest? lol

Sorry, it's not funny to have someone come into your home without permission or notice. What happened with the landlords when you showed the tape to the authorities?

  • RENT is evil, it makes the renter poorer and kept down, while the landlord gets fat and richer, and then they go up on the rent again, and again, and again, until you have to get five jobs and have NO food in your house.

  • @Blackwater200 you are one idiot. do you think a landlord has a house free of charge. did you ever hear of a mortgage????? it cost money to pay back a mortgage. do you ever hear of maintance and insurance costs, that costs money too.

  • @gaggotgaggot They way you think is why we have problems in the world with poverty, people like you that are in that renters business have a one track mind, and only care about yourselves. Saving up money to buy a home is close to impossible if the renting owner is taking 95% of your earnings with future increases to come.

  • @gaggotgaggot Have you ever heard of limited funds and no raises from your job? When an owner goes up on a tenants rent, the budget he or she has makes it very difficult for them to maintain a survival living status for things like food, medical, clothes, car expenses, you name it; you are not the only one that has responsibilities.

  • @Blackwater200 well mortgage rates varies, the mortgage rate goes up the landlord has to pay more to the bank. if he cannot pay the bank they will take the house back. if a tenant is not happy with a rent hike go somewhere else, there is nothing stopping them. its so simple. the landlord is tied to the property, mortgages / tax / insurance and so on. its not all good for landlords

  • @gaggotgaggot 2.) It’s not easy to just pick up and leave anytime you please when rent gets high, other property in new areas maybe higher than the apartment you are in, so you can’t leave, you are stuck there. Some owners lie anyways about their reasons for going up on rent, some are well off but go up because market value said so, and not because they need to which leads to being a greedy asshole.

  • @gaggotgaggot 1.)The classic “Go somewhere else” speech, I understand rent owners issues, but they seem to not understand tenant’s money issues, they think we are a bottomless pit of money that they can tap into anytime they want. Nice talking to you dude, have a nice day

  • @Blackwater200 so what you are saying is that a landlord has to pay some of the tennants rent himself???? thats fucking crazy. if the tennant has money problems let them go out and get anothe job. what is wrong with this fucking country

  • @gaggotgaggot Wait a mintue, who's property is it, The tenants or the owners? Let them go out and get a job and pay for their own increases on their property, and let me pay the rent that I agreed to pay when I signed the contract when I first moved into that unit. I never agreed to pay any future raises or additional fees when I first moved in, so stop buying all that junk that makes your budget so high.

  • @Blackwater200 if an increase is not allowed in the contract you do not have to pay an increase. read the contract, its so simple. i assume the contract is for a year, after that the landlord has a right to put up the rent. do you expect to pay the same rent for a ten or twenty year period. did you ever hear of inflation?????? wake up and get into the real world

  • wtf, this is bullshit! she cannot do this, i hope you moved somewhere else

  • I moved into a very small apartment. And the landlord is a wack job! She just stand outside my apartment sometimes and watches me. She has a garden IN THE FRONT OF MY APARTMENT that she neglects but when I mowed over them she went berserk! I have a garage that she lets herself into randomly and takes MY shit (for days at a time, without my permission) and I even came home and found her on my deck once. If I ever find her in my apartment then I won't be responsible for what happens to her.

  • @Sunderland4745 Move out! Private Home and apt Renters go by there own rules! My Response is "HIT EM" Where it Hurts! Hop the next Bus out of Dodge!

  • Some section 8 landlords let themselves in with a copy of a key. This is also what is in a lease agreement that they can do this. That part of the deal does suck very much.

  • A few years ago my ex-landlord let himself into my apartment, pissed in my toilet (didn't flush it) and left. He didn't relock the door either! I was young and stupid and just took that kind of stuff from him then :(

  • This crap makes me so mad!! I can't believe that she not ONLY let HERSELF into YOUR place, but she ALSO brought a stranger in with her!!! Talk about invasion of personal space and property!! Imagine something had gone missing!!!

  • A landloard cannot enter your house without notification. You don't even have to open the door if they come to your house. They have to give you 48 hour notice [at least in Florida]. They can only come in if there's a fire or something.

My landlord already went inside my efficiency thrice from what I know. I am about to get a camera. I don't even feel safe.

  • i accidentally opened the door to blow a bong hit outnot realizing the landlord was just about to knock and hes choking and waving his hand in front of his face and he said reminds me of college but we didnt have no shit that smelled that good and we laughed i gave him his check and he left ... but he is the only good landlord ive had in 20 landlords ... hence why ive been here for 8 years

  • Name and shame.

  • I hate having to rent. You're never left alone. Landlords suck.

  • report the bitch to the council

  • my landlady does that too, she gives me a copy of my rights in writing which includes that she has to give notice!!! but she does not always give notice & neither do her maintenance people. One walked right in (using their key) w/o knocking!, thank god none of us were naked or something!! geez!! 1.what do you say to having it in writing from them & then it's still ignored? 2.the landlady I have does NOT own the property, just works for the company that does! & what of maintenance?

  • I thank God that I am out of the getting ass raped buisness. Oh did I say ass raped? I meant the rental buisness!

  • you can always put an extra lock on the door...they have no right snooping in your apartment.

  • our landlord wanted to come in our house to get the check when we were out a few times

  • Heres the thing, lets say the landlord has been going in there without the tenants being notified for awhile now. So now the tenant has proof, now he can say that stuff has been going missing for sometime and the landlord been stealing from him.

  • If you want to be able to stick your chest out and act like if these places you rent from others are yours the you shold

    BUY YOUR OWN PLACE!!!

  • WTF??? When property owners rent to people they are taking money in exchange for LEGAL RIGHTS of occupancy by the people they rent to including limiting their own access tothe property. Renters demanding the legal rights they are entitled to & have paid for is not "sticking thier chest out".

If you don't want people to have RIGHTS to your property then DON'T RENT your property out!!!

    Sheesh!!!

  • @IdahoBorn72 if you came into my house like that id kill you, I dont know you... what if i was home or sleeping.

  • this has got to be the most ignorant comment on here...

  • In Virginia Landlords must notify tenants 24 hrs. in writing before entering for non-emergency's. I had one who entered on me illegally while I was sleeping! I heard some noise got up took my pistol out of my drawer and confronted him! He never came back without notice again.

  • I'd sue the scumbag bitch! That's why I hate renting and prefer my own home because you don't have gestapo storm troopers like this coming into your place every six months gawking into your refrigerator and counting your tampons!

I had an old nosey rosey landlady like this and I would leave notes for her in the dresser drawers-and believe it or not-they would be gone! What a little bitch. She complained because I moved the damn dresser out of the living room and into the bedroom where it belongs

  • Most, if not all, landlords are BLOODSUCKING VAMPIRES! Anyone who becomes a landlord does it because they think they can get money for nothing and even though there's a lot of work, they still try to get it for nothing or for as little as they can do.

  • Half the time the tenants never answer your calls anyways. Now I just give them a 24 hour message on their phone and show up the next day. As a landlord, tenants get away with far more shit than any landlord.

  • In my experience tenants get away with far more things than tenants .Unless the landlord puts their foot down tenants will walk all over you. I have been a tenant most of my life but I always knew that when it came down to it>>>THE PLACE WAS NOT MINE>>>I ONLY RENT IT!!! Thats what alot of tenants tend to forget.

  • u r so fucking right man!!! the place is not yours its only rented, but when you are paying to live there with a lease then that place is yours and no landlord can come in and if they do by law they have to leave a note letting u know they were there and for what reason. u r such an ignorant.

  • if I caught you in MY PLACE BECAUSE I PAY FOR IT IDIOT, you most certainly would not be able to walk anymore asshole or if i wanted too id just kill you & say it was self defence you loose any which way moron

  • Tenants get away with way more then they should, being a landlord is not easy. Usually they just want to go in to make sure their place is not excessively damaged etc. I'm glad I will never rent to you because punks like you live in Government housing and always will.

  • Listen to this shit stain, 1 from Canada should know Canada has 1 of the highest standards of living in the world & that most certainly applies to laws pertaining to renting & leasing , this is illegal entry & you a fucking nobody a 22 year old punk has the adasity to make excuses about this criminal act. Keep it up because someone is going to kill you & rightly so. YOU ARE A COWARD WHY DON'T THEY WALK IN WHEN THE OCCUPANT(S) ARE AT HOME COWARD , SCARRED SHIT STAIN YEH WALK IN WHEN THEY ARE HOME

  • We would go in when they were home there though guy, its just when their not home its not a big deal either. 90% of the tenants that I deal with trust me and dont care anyway. Just so you know I've been in the rental business my entire life. It's our property we know they are renting it but we stand to loose alot more money then the tenants. I know alot more then you buddy so don't talk.

  • This asshole thinks he knows more than me oh wow you don't know me or what i know for that matter, just from how you try & explain things is enough for me & most to conclude you are a slime a moron that tries to justify your criminal acts you are a psychopath plain & simple, how are the occupants realistically able to know exactly what your doing they can't idiot that is why there is laws & from this video it shows that this particular person takes offence it's intrusive demeaning & illegal.

  • you are simply insecure that itself contributes to your cowardly demeanor.I don't give a shit about your problems idiot someone is gonna stomp your worthless guts or sue your fucked up face so keep it up mouth piece. you are a horrible little coward that has mental problems from that your are a problem that effects other people do the world a favor kill yourself asshole

  • I agree, a landlord is not supposed enter tenants property when the tenant is not at home.

  • @FallenSoulRising so if there is a major leak a landlord cannot enter the property until the tennant is there. get real

  • I know what you mean. I have some tenants right now that think they own my house.

  • I have to agree with this. My tenant took over my garage and my garden. They asked me if they could store their bicycle in the garage and I said yes and gave em a key. Next thing I know, they are storing personnal stuff in there. I mean, I go in my garage and I see all this stuff and i'm like what the fuck. Then they made another violation, they claim they are paying my mortgage and they support me and i'm like what the fuck....

  • But that's not all, there is more. I was having some repair work done and I gave the contractor permission to store the materials from the demolishion in the garden until the work is done. My tenant comes running out and start giving orders, claiming that he ownd the garden and my contractor can't put anything in there. That' when I got pissed and put my foot down. I told them that they will have to deal with the police the next time they violate me.

  • Some tenants are real trouble, they think they own the property. Both tenants and landlords can be assholes. You just have to draw the line somewhere.

  • yes but that doesnt give anyone the the right to just enter your home. why wait until the person is gone? if its something important, then the landlord should be ok with talking to the tenant about it.

this goes beyond landlord/tenant rights, and is more about common deceny

  • It doesnt look like the landlord did anything wrong. She came in . She showed the place . She left . Whats the big deal?

She is after all The Landlord!!

  • rage6742 - but she dont have the right to do that if the place is being occupied and specially w/o asking permission... she can be sued with that.

  • well then why not look into someones bank account fuck come & go as you please FUCK YOU IDIOT YOU NEED A SEVERE BEATING & WHEEL CHAIR BETTER YET YOU NEED TO BE DEAD, PSYCHOPATH

  • Yes true the Landlord is allowed to enter the building they own.....but A 24 HOUR NOTICE MUST ME GIVEN TO THE TENANT UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY (IE:PIPE BURST ,FLOODING,INFESTATION, ETC)...

    RAGE6742 read the law.!

That is your apartment where you pay rent which gives you rights and yours have been violated. Call the police.

  • here in texas the landlords are allowed to come in if the tenant is not home but they have to leave tenant a note by law that they were there and for what reason

  • The OWNER of the building is ALLOWED to enter into the apartments and the Landlord as well . This is Law. Read the Law.

  • This is true.

  • what about the customer's privacy? the customers are paying the rent isn't it? if they enter atleast with a notice ahead...

  • Thank you. The comments on here were driving me crazy.

  • with notice.

    you read the law

if she gave no notice, and the tenant just woke up and shot her - it would be self defense.

i bet she would think twice about it next time.

all you landlords that are on your high horses need to relax, not every tenant is up to no good, some people just like to have their privacy respected

  • this was stupid my gerbil pui pui says so

  • time to take her to court!

  • busted!
